Samuel L. Bronkowitz & A 20 Year Anniversary TR 1/28 - 2/4

This trip marks the 20th Anniversary of my Las Vegas and Super Bowl / Championship of professional football marriage.

Back in 2000 I watched Kirk Warner and the St Louis Rams defeat Donovan McNair and the Titans of Tennessee and I’ve been spending money here every January/February since.

1/28 – 1/31 @ Downtown Grand

Never stayed here before but I’m giving it a test drive as there is a room type I’ve wanted to stay in for the last three-four years (City Suite).

Everyone has fun at The Grand, apparently (verified on their website):



1/31 – 2/4 @ The Signature

The One Bedroom Balcony Suite has a kitchen and a lavish veranda. It’s also a fucking hike to everywhere I want to go, but it was cheap.

Cap’n Clarence Oveur & First Officer Roger Murdock landed the metal glider at ORD and I await boarding Flight 2133 to McCarran.

Our Flight Attendant, Miss Cleo, was a bucket of positive energy and I wish I could be as upbeat as she is/was. "It is an honor to have you on board and I relish your presence."

Always looking to be inspired when I travel to our happy place, I’m undecided about what in-flight entertainment I should choose. Both involve war, conflict & people getting shot in the face.

I’ll most likely go for the book because it makes me look sophisticated and more intelligent than staring at a tablet screen for over two hours. That and…it’s a tablet screen. I should hold off and try and watch this in my brothers home theater on the big screen after the Super Bowl.

About to pour my first drink of the trip.


Puff Diddy is involved with Ciroc, so I support it. Did you know I was in MTV’s ‘Making The Video’ with P-Diddy and the man that helped influence the Me Too Movement, Brett Ratners?

Puffy Combs and I are regular pals. He told me to 'have some strawberries n’shit’ when I was in his palatial Beverly Hills penthouse hotel room and there was a gigantic breakfast spread on the dining room table. Of course, my lasting impression of that long day was when Ratner continuously boasted that his ‘Rush Hour’ movies grossed $7 billion worldwide or something and then Didd would combat that by saying he earned that last month.

That and when his entourage threatened to kill the Producer on set. Matt (Producer) had to lock himself in his trailer for four hours as things calmed down.

A lot of fun.

I even packed two of my Sean John button ups in the old Samsonite for this venture. When you (think you) look good, you get in that Sidney Poitier groove….that Robert Redford mode (the 1970’s Redford, not the current version that looks like his face melted).

What the fuck is this bulllllllllllshit?
