    I've stayed there oktober 2018.
I liked it better than expected. Nice quiet room with coffeemaker and a little balcony.
    Small but nice swimming pool.
Fitness is not worth mentioning so small.

We stay twice a year at Royal Resort. I believe it's undergoing a total refurb including pool. Don't think many rooms are available to book at the moment and I've read various unconfirmed reports that the rooms will no longer have fridges or coffee machines. Good cheap location though with no resort fee.

It is on Convention Center Drive, across from Circus Circus and Resorts World.

They had a casino there until about 1990.

They also have a steakhouse there, The Barrymore, that gets pretty decent reviews. I've had a couple of bartenders mention it to me.

The Barrymore is worth a visit, they have a great happy hour!
