It's not smoked, at least I can't taste it. Also I'm not a fan of the steak. I do like the Ribs and Chicken.

@jgates8 if you’re looking for brisket and a value barbecue, you might try Binion’s.
They have a ribs, brisket or chicken. Served with corn on the cob, biscuit, cole slaw and beans.

I tried it for free because of the Binion’s app. Never ate there before so ... why not? It was decent! Super fast!

Binion's brisket are just ok (forever spoiled by brisket in TX!). Their ribs are pretty good though!

    I’m with Init2.

I really like the ribs, but find the brisket lacking.

I will end up at Ellis at least a couple of times this trip because I like the slots there (it may have something to do with the beer). Do we recommend hitting the bbq restaurant for the ribs?

The ribs are good. We are headed there next week to get them again.

There is a lot of talk about the food......(Which I like) at EI, but has anyone stayed there since the takeover of the adjacent hotel. I'm thinking of staying there since I spend a lot of time at EI when I come to Vegas. Just wondering how it is or should i just stick with the "strip hotels"? Thanks for any advice.

I used to love EI...but since they upgraded inside and spoofed it up...what 5 years ago or so??? I'm not a fan of gambling there so much. For whatever reason its lost its luster for me.

Not a strip quality room but they redid the rooms 2 yrs ago when they bought it, it was a Super 8, we stayed there this Nov and the room was very nice bed and a fridge, room is small and bathroom is too, I would call it functional and it was clean also no problems with noise. We have been staying there 1 night on are last couple of trips we like there food and beer, the low limit tables are fun and we have found they have a good selection of new and old slots we like. This is not our favorite casino to stay at but for 1 night it works and it's close to the airport, but we mainly stay there because we drink to much of there beer and could not drive so we can crash right there. Also we have played enough to get the room, food and beer comp with $25.00 FP. We always enjoy are time their and are treated well.

Thank you for the info. I will keep that in mind. I don't mind small rooms. I'm only there to sleep & shower. Hopefully I can find a god deal sometime soon.

We always go to Ellis Island for one breakfast. Steak, eggs, hash browns, & toast for like $6.99. One of the best deals in Vega$.

Same here. This alone might get one of my buddies to accompany me to Vegas.
