A question for you experts....so first time comped 4 nights through MLife. I'm not able to use all 4 days because of work, however I want to wait on airfare prices to determine which days we can use of those 4. Hypothetically, if we reserved our 4 comped nights Friday - Tuesday, but actually showed up Saturday - Tuesday would the comp be canceled because we didn't show up to check in on the first night? Since not showing up Friday would they assume the entire reservation is canceled or are we good if we showed up on Saturday and stayed through Tuesday?

    Thank you for your input!

Why would you not just book from sat-tues then?

Waiting on airfare prices. We will either go Friday - Monday or Saturday - Tuesday. Use only 3 of the 4 days.

if you received the same offer I did, you need to reserve the room by 1/31.

In any case, after flights are decided, call or go online and change the reservation. You never want to do a no-show 1st day. Also, if taking a late flight make sure you have that noted on the reservation.

Thank you. That's what I'll do. Book all 4 and cancel 1 day when we decide on the flight. Appreciate the quick response.

If you leave a day early, not a big deal IF you hit the comp terms. (4 nights usually require 2-3 day stay minimim).

If you come in late, they can charge you. Just book it and call to adjust if you come in a day later. Congrats on the comps and have a blast!

You can USUALLY move your days.

BUT - people have flight issues all the time. They call and say they will not arrive until the next day.

    No shows get cancelled out.

Just because you received a comp for four days doesn't mean that you have to stay for four days.

I would say, once you have your travel plans fleshed out (before 1/31, if that's the drop dead date), make a reservation for the three days that you're going to be there.

Book now and then call and change your reservation if you need to.

For me, usually for me once the “must book by date” has passed, I have not been able to move the dates. At that point all I have been able to do is shorten the stay by cancelling days at the beginning/end of the stay.
