Basically a nicer Imperial Palace would be cool lol

Japanese themed where the Tropicana is now.
About the size of the PH
Nice rooms with floor to ceiling windows, separate shower/tubs, and a refrigerator.
Good technology in the rooms and property. I want to be able to do anything and everything with my phone.
    Pool complex like Mandalay Bay
About 12 restaurants plus a good food court.
Sports book with stadium seating that has reclining seats. (order food/beverage from your phone)
Large circular bar in the middle of the casino with a DJ on Friday/Saturday nights
    Cocktail waitresses in kimonos
Inside looks like NYNY, but, Japanese style.

Haha, do you know what, you're absoutely right :). The different feels of MSS/ Cal/4Q vs Wynn/Palazzo vs MGM/Mandalay vs whatever is very much part of the overall experience; and the variation adds to the enjoyment.

Added bonus... if you fuck up at one place and get banned (or just get thrown out for being too drunk), you can just go to the next place. But if everything is at one resort and either of those things happen, you won’t exactly have anywhere to go.

Go back in time and to the Bellagio when it opened in 1998. I can't speak to the slot and VP offerings, but the emphasis of that place clearly was on table games. And the standard rules still existed back then, and you could play at the $5 minimum level...….remember playing $5 craps there the night before the news broke that Wynn was selling to MGM. To me, it was just about as perfect as you could get a place. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to stay there until 2002 and MGM had taken over, but it was still pretty good.

I've said it before, at about the time when that last wave opened with Bellagio, Mandalay, Venetian, Paris, and Aladdin...….you started wondering "how much nicer can they make these places?" Last year, when asked about future plans for the Frontier/Alon parcel, CEO Matt Maddox said they were waiting to determine what the "next big thing" was going to be.

The next mega should open in 2021 with Resorts World. RW's Twitter page linked a recent interview with Scott Sibella where he emphasized the technology aspect of the resort......we'll see what that entails:

That would be my idea of a perfect resort, Bellagio as it was when new, with some modifications to fit this century. For example, instead of the tower they built later, I would have put there Cosmopolitan, as a Bellagio tower. I would build further back a third tower for people that visit with kids. And then, did not the Dunes have a golf course? Somewhere among those three towers there should be space for a golf course. Then I wold build a regular theatre to do, I don't know, To Kill a Mockingbird, Wynn had theatres in mind way back then. I would also add an opera house. They could bring for one performance of Tristan and Isolde the Berlin Philharmonic, Simon Rattle, Jonas Kaufmann and Nina Stemme. I know, that is not Vegas, a five hour show by a casino? Well, I'm not the investor, just the dreamer. And they should have full pay Deuces progressives with sequential royals, at least in five dollar and one dollar denominations. Oh yes, and the Allegro lounge with a live band with a saxophone at eleven in the morning. And eliminate from the Conservatory all those cute contraptions and go back to just flowers, one exhibit could be, for example, orchids.

If you could fuse the Wynn with the Cosmo's rooms and location, I'd be good,

And keep all the restaurants, too :)

Mine would be similar. Put Wynncore in Cosmo’s location (and with Cosmo’s terraces). I’d keep some of the Cosmo/Wynncore restaurants. But, I’d rather have Aria’s or V/P’s joints.

I would build the tallest resort in Vegas by far. A true 5 star with an even higher end "Tower" section on the highest floors. Guests of this area, which include Villas with balconies and outdoor pools/hot tubs, can check in via the Sky Lobby. The Sky Lobby, a high end gaming salon and restaurant lounge would occupy the top two floors. Guests could, if they choose, fly into Vegas via helicopter, or take one from McCarren to the hotel and land on the roof and check in there. No need in my hotel to ever touch the ground.

The worst room would have floor to ceiling windows, 10 foot ceilings, and be larger than a Delano Suite. All rooms get butler service, suite and villa guests get use of the house car within a few mile radius of the hotel at no charge. The house cars would be Bentleys and Rolls Royces.

Large pool complex with a club attached. At night, a glass roof extends over the pool/club to allow for continued use without disturbing guests. This is a major problem with Wynn, the club noise.

I'd install a pot lounge with exceptional air filtration (no pot use anywhere else in the hotel), this despite me hating the stuff. However, it would make lots of money.

I would also include a gay club as this is currently lacking on Strip and that demographic tends to prefer high end, note I'm married and straight, again it is a good business decision.

For starters, live music on the casino floor again, in an open lounge with seating, great drinks and a dance floor. Hell, let's make it two lounges since it's a mega resort.

A large, walled off, non-smoking casino with all the features the smokers get. I don't need the whole place, but I want a separate floor or building. And no damn vaping either.

Cocktails. Good ones. No arguing over call brands, no plastic cups. In the end, you get it all. Make it fun.

Standard rooms with soaking tubs, blackout curtains, tables you can actually eat on, and refrigerators. Ideally, the place is built out of concrete and steel to keep things quiet, but if not, no connecting doors.

Absolutely kick-ass pool with tons of seating, umbrellas, and segregation to enable both partying and relaxation.

Blackjack. That means a natural pays 3-2. Anything else is a carnival game.

Video poker that gives players options. I am OK with reduced pay tables and even bet tracking for drinks at the bar. But if I want to get a fair shake, I should have an option on the floor.

Most important of all. Reward employees who do a good job. Keep them happy and engaged, and your reputation will shine as a result.

I'm hoping Derek drops Circa so right, there's little to complain about..
(just please keep a few low roller tables around),
And for the different feels, all your old favorites are just a short walk away...

apologies, quite OT, at Vue bar one time, the bartender said he had to pour my beer first into the small comp size glass, then into the plastic cup I requested.. Really?

Yeah, I'd like to swap in/out a few of the Cosmo spots for some V/P ones, but it was 1am, and I wanted to be simple :D

Exactly what I'd want, the Wynn where Cosmo is with the balconies.

I mean, it's not like Clint Howard has anything else to do (unless Ron is directing a movie)

Good point - he may be serving Tranya at the bar months after the grand opening! (I'm sure he'd enjoy it too - my casino will be a blast to work at!)
