I have. The refrigerator door doesn't open all the as the end of the bed is there. (see pic)
Also, you'll might have to step into the shower to close the bathroom door.

    It looks nice and clean...
I've been in a regular west tower room... it was nice and clean
    That's what I'm looking for

i'M sure that you'll like it. Good location. I had that room 2 years ago, but I've always wanted to stay at the MSS.

This is an east tower room? Looking out the window it looks like binion's parking structure.

I didn't know that the Cal has a king premium room in the east tower, I thought all the premium rooms were in the west tower.

One recommendation, when asking for a premium room, ask for a room in the west tower. much more roomy IMHO, plus the bathroom fully contains the shower, vanity and toilet.

I stayed in this exact room type in the west tower in December of 2018. I'd say above average as far as Vegas rooms go, absolutely nothing to complain about. Having stayed in a MSS room the following summer, I can say that the difference between these two rooms is so significant that if I had to choose between paying for this room at the Cal and getting MSS comped, I'd choose paying for this room at the Cal.

So if you can get it for three nights comped, I say go for it.

Just remember, your room you're comped and the room in the picture are never the same.
Good luck and let us know how your room was.:poker::beer::feedme:

I’m interested in this property may3-6. I’m looking for something more modern. Have rooms etc been renovated in the past few years? I’m assuming this hotel would be a bit quieter considering it’s not on Fremont.

    Any tips or suggestions?

    Thanks

Stayed there twice since the remodel. Extremely nice rooms. West tower high floor. No worries. It was going to cost me $50 for the last nite during March madness so I'm staying at MSS free. Yes, I'm a cheap bas****. Plus as long as the room is clean I really don't care. I'm only in the room to sleep and shower. But there is no comparison between the rooms.

I always try for the 2 bed option, in the west tower.
Great to throw crap on the extra bed, or use the extra pillows.
Plus, and extra bed for guests.

This is a west tower high floor (22) premium two queen, we have had the king and not had problems with the fridge door or the shower- updated showers have sliding glass doors, and the bathrooms are quite nice.
(same about using extra bed for throwing stuff on, or often, eating the breakfast I bring up.)
(IMO it feels bigger because the space in the walkway, P thinks King feels bigger but is coming around I think- 2Q also works better if someone is passed the hell out and someone else is watching tv - which are nice and big BTW) (lamps have Outlets+USB charging ports but many have been busted lately)

This is a grown woman, btw, she just likes stuffed animal cats to come along since we can't bring the real ones. This was Lucky's first trip to Vegas.

and IIRC this is a premium king, note you lose a chair and gain an ottoman:

The MSS rooms are IMO wholly inferior (but not terrible), but the deal breaker was the janky keyed safe in the closet (pay if you lose the key), vs the usual digital safe in Cal above the fridge.

We once checked in and it was locked.. entertaining watching security come up to open it, along w. another supervisor and joking how we could split it up.. It was empty.

The cal has been upgraded recently. They put in walk in showers too.
