    My Trip Report

    It’s time to head back to Vegas!

    In 24-ish hours I will be headed to Vegas for another solo trip and a 3-night stay at NoMad! My 22nd trip to Vegas!

    This is probably my most “last-minute” trip I’ve ever booked. A month ago, around my birthday, there were some great flight deals, and I had a few comp nights available, so how could I resist? Happy Birthday to me! 2 nights are comped, and I’m paying $50 for the last night, plus some resort credit and freeplay. Could have gotten all 3 nights comped if I stayed in a regular Park MGM room, but I figure $50 is cheap for an “upgrade” to a premium room, no kiosk check-in, and a high floor at Nomad. Got the roundtrip Delta flights in Comfort+ for only 13,373 points!

    Plans for the trip so far:
    - VMB meetup Saturday at Ballys 6pm
    - My usual mix of Video Poker, Blackjack, Craps, and some Slots
    - Drinking
    - Hitting up the renamed casinos, Oyo, Strat, and Sahara, for souvenir chips
    - More drinking
    - Wandering The Strip
    - Trying at least a couple new restaurants and happy hours, Bazaar Meats is definitely on the list
    - Coupon run downtown on Sunday
    - Use a couple MyVegas awards: buffet, some freeplay, BOGO food and drinks
    - And, whatever random things that always happen in Vegas!

    I will be posting here live as much as possible with pics, gambling reports, food porn, and other thoughts. I will also live tweet some of the highlights of my trip on Twitter, you can follow me there @TwoWayHardEight

    have a goodtrip and yea nice points redemption on Delta hope you gey a good flight crew who keeps drinks flowing and you can start off good on your flight !!!!

    Good luck! Get that Royal dammit!

    And if you get the time, collect your birthday freeplay at Park ($25), Excalibur ($20), and Luxor ($20). If it's within a week of your actual birthday, you should be able to get all 3!

    Stayed there April and October last year and enjoyed it both times! It's not Aria, but I enjoy the boutique feel to the rooms and the private checkin. You can see some pics and thoughts in my reports:
