Any pics of this "Bay Suite"? I have not seen that option online. Any good descriptions of it?

checked in Friday, November 22, 2019 at about 3pm. I reserved an Ultra Hip King - gave desk person the sandwich and he offered me either a strip view Ultra Hip King or a larger room with no view. I took the view. For what's it's worth, the guy really did appear to work hard to get me a good room - I just think he was limited on a busy friday afternoon.

Do you know what the larger no view room was?

I'm not sure what kind of room it was but he said it had "double vanities" so I'm assuming it was the Ultra Resort Room.

Seeing that post above - who else has had luck with the $20 sandwich at Diamond check in? I check in next week for 2 nights, figured it might be worth a shot

Checked in Jan 2, 2020 early (noon) wanting adjoining rooms with an upgrade to fountain view. Got it with a $20 sandwich. I think she would have upgraded us without the $20!

Wow you got lucky. We checked in 1:00 AM and since we wanted adjoining rooms not much possible to do. We received the adjoining rooms on the 14th floor NO VIEW, but didn't take the $20.00 since they could not apply any upgrades.

Wondering what a $20, being Diamond and a Tuesday - Friday stay may give at the Diamond Check in.

Currently comped on a standard Ultra Hip King.

Just checked in last night but the diamond check in was closed at 9PM (flight was delayed 6 hours..). I just asked if any upgrades were available and gave her a $20. I was originally on the 34th floor, south side. And she changed me to 50th floor north side with an awesome view of the fountains. The room itself wasnt an upgrade but the view was def worth the $20 imo.

Very happy to read this. I’d be happy with that. I have a base Ultra Hip King booked on a comp offer (Diamond as well).

Do you, by any chance, have any pics of the view you had?

Have Ultra Hip King comped 07/10 - 07/12 .. Going to try a $50 sandwhich and ask for Fountain View with Huge tub. Will report back. Not having high hopes because of the Covid situation but you dont ask you dont get.

Comped a Ultra Hip King 12/27-12/29. With the new normal everything is done on the kiosks but the employee on duty asked if I wanted an upgrade. Handed her a $20 sandwich and she immediately ushered me to her workstation.

Ended up getting a fountain view with a tub on the 22nd floor. The person who helped was very appreciative.

$20 on the counter and the rep worked her magic for the upgrade from Ultra Hip to a Strip Suite for two nights. Tried to extend in the same room and they wanted $275 a night for the next two nights.

Was very happy with the upgrade!

Did you ask for the strip suite in particular or just for an upgrade?
