Wandering Fremont. Pit stop at Boars Head Bar for a beer.

Loved, Loved, LOVED the $1700 RF! Congratulations! Another great hockey game. What a fantastic trip!
Never been to SP? They have the best selection of vp in Vegas. My favorite machine in Vegas is there...MultiStrike with 9/6 JoB.

Eliza, I must admit we also have never been to South Point, and we have been to Vegas over 60 times. We get so caught up in the grinding for comps downtown that we just haven't taken the time to travel all the way out to South Point. We will fix that this year. By the way, fantastic trip report.

Turned my $100 FP at GG into $91.25. New (I think) since last time - their bartop VP pays out 1199 for a quarter RF.

I believe all their progressives at the bar top out at $1199.00. After someone hits it starts back at $1000.00. The good is no W2G at the $0.25 level, but the bad, if I remember correctly, none of the games are full pay.

The paytables are pretty bad. I only ever play here when I need to use FP. I didn’t realize it was a capped progressive that’s mildly annoying. The dollar progressive Royal is at $6,136. Wonder how much play these get.

All paytables are a notch or more below full pay though at Long Bar.

Met up briefly with @bluejays at Vue bar. She was awesome and is getting ready to embark on quite an adventure - I’m v jealous.

I may have just pissed off the hostess at Andiamo. I went in to see about getting a bar seat around 8:15. They said they had quite a long list, but added me. It didn’t sound too promising, so I went online and reserved a table for 9PM. When I showed up for the reservation, they seemed seriously upset that I had made a reservation. I actually think they were considering refusing to seat me for a minute. I’m assuming because I reserved a table for two since they don’t take reservations for one (don’t get me stated on how ridiculous that policy is). But I have a table now, so #Winning?

And on the lighter side of things, here are some slotting around pictures. Turned $75 FP into $50.

Dinner is fantastic - as it always is here.

I have never dined there but will definitely be doing so with my mom in April. Food looks amazing. When I was there last week I stuck my head in but wasn't too hungry and didn't want to commit a lot of time so I ate at The D Grill, for the first time, instead. Diner/not fancy food but I enjoyed my meal.

And yeah, as a regular solo diner I agree some restaurants not taking reservations for one is ridiculous. It is 2020. Fortunately, for some of my favorite places, like Lakeside, it is never an issue.

Did a little accounting work to see where I'm at for the trip, as I get ready to wrap up the downtown portion of my stay.

    Slotting around results:
    Strip Crawl: +108
    Downtown: +302

    Cash on hand: +2,150

It's been an amazing trip so far.

I ate at Andiamo once. I got a shrimp cocktail for $18 that consisted of 3 small soggy shrimp (literally worse than I've had on any salad bar) that were tasteless. I canceled the rest of my order and left. It was horrible and I've never been back. Evidently, they do other dishes better. Those shrimp should never have gotten out of the kitchen. I should have been told that the shrimp cocktail wasn't available that night; at least if it's a high caliber operation.

That doesn’t sound good. I’ve been very happy with Andiamos, so maybe you managed to catch them on a bad night. Or maybe just avoid the shrimp.

That must have been a fluke. I've had the regular shrimp appetizer and the new BBQ shrimp appetizer on several occasions (@theoldcoach is a witness) and they have been excellent every time.

In fact, I can witness that @alexlifeson had them on multiple occasions with me at the table.

I have not had them, bit I can verify he thought they were delightful.
