Last day tomorrow! We’re planning to go downtown, find some $5 craps, and lunch at Le Thai.

This has been a lovely trip so far!

I chose to get up early to look for $5 craps. Found at NYNY, yay. Played a while, left up a touch. Then wandered to Park to cash some TITOs from last night and okay a little while waiting for the Sweetie. Just got 4aces with a multiplier! Fun! Which means, it’s time for breakfast! We made it downtown! Played craps at the Cal, wandered over to check out Binion’s and get a new photo with the cool mil! Having lunch at Le Thai!

It’s always hard to figure out what to do for the last hour before you head to the airport. Can’t get too invested in an activity. We got back to NYNY, I played some bubble craps, had a nice little jackpot win on Dancing Drums. The Sweetie is all gambled out so we’re just chilling in the food court area of NYNY.

This has been a lovely trip! Better than I could have hoped for!

Pen and pad still standard at NYNY!
I won the minor jackpot. It was up to $43 and reset to the $25 you see after my win.

You would be surprised how well they do with the wine pairing at Le Cirque. Their pre theater menu is so worth it!

Sounds like a perfect trip! I love nyny too. Glad to see that there is nickel ultimate X - I am so used to seeing it for quarters only. Thanks for the report. [emoji846]

Would someone please share the link or website for the show seats sticky thread? Sounds like it would come in very handy!

The nickel Ultimate was at Park MGM. I’ll defin be playing it again.

    Some final trip thoughts...

I was a touch worried about how it would go, since it had been so long both since we'd traveled alone together for more than about 24 hours, and since the Sweetie had been in Vegas. I needn't have worried! We had a completely lovely time. It was of course different than a solo trip--I gambled less, since he likes penny machines at a penny a time, or single coin VP, and I prefer the shiny video slots and always play full pay VP. I was glad to still get some craps in, finding that rare morning $5 table at NYNY, and downtown at the Cal (recognized some of the dealers there:). At the Cal, he kept asking me questions about my bets, since he hasn't played craps. We both

I admit I started the knife & fork pizza, lol! That slice was just so damn big. I would have never tried the pizza there at NYNY, and it turned out to be really good.

We kept our walks really short, compared to what I usually do. We got as far north as Bellagio on foot & tram, and only went as far south as Excalibur. We used Lyft to get downtown rather than the WAX; for two, the price difference wasn't that big a deal and time was more important than $ for us.

The Sweetie LOVED Eataly, loved NYNY, loved Zumanity (and our awesome 2nd row seats), Le Thai, and enjoyed the whole trip. I'm sure I'll be able to get him to go again, once our eldest kid is home for summer break from college. I think he'd enjoy Absinthe....

As far as gambling went, I ended up down only a little, thanks to big Ultimate X and Dancing Drums wins on the last day. Craps was down a little one time and up a little the other; a wash. I had one nice thing happen - I placed a dealer bet and the player next to me put odds on it for the dealers. I like that camaraderie of the craps table. We verified my earlier observation that the flashy 007 slots are crap. The Sweetie wanted to like it for the visuals, but he played a $20 through, got the "bonus" several times and won nada zip zero. The bonus on those (I think they're the Thunderball ones?) has you needed to get the octopus symbol to win anything in the bonus, and of course, that did not happen. My fave new slot is still Dancing Drums--lots of betting options, and fun bonuses. It'll be extra fun to play next trip, during Lunar New Year time.

    Thanks for following!
