Last year in Vegas this machine existed in NYNY. From what I understand it no longer does. I know there is also a machine thats similar that allow's you to choose between 1000, 2500, 5000 or nothing. I've seen a video on youtube in Vegas of this machine but can no longer find it. I think it may have been at Aria?

I am there next week and was hoping to find at least 1000 or nothing machine. Reading through the forums the only thing I could find is there might maybe be one in PARIS or Park MGM. Can anyone confirm where I can find these machines?????

    THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

Saw that at NYNY near the high limit room on past visits. I always give it a shot. Assuming it has similar holds to other slot machines, it is actually a good machine to play. You give up all those smaller wins and you give up multi-thousand dollar jackpots. Statistically, you have a better chance of hitting the $1,000 than you would the larger jackpots. Of course, you can still end up with a walk of shame.

It sounds kind of like the "green machine"(iirc) slots...
simple.. If the hold isn't too bad I like it,
cut out all those garbage "bonus" rounds.

Roeben was talking about it on his podcast just the other day. I think it was at ParkMGM.

You have to love the directness, but it always makes me think of this:

He won a bunch of money on it, and also has a notorious distaste for bonus rounds, so he was a big fan. It's definitely an interesting concept.

Personally, it doesn't really appeal to me (though I'm not a big slot person in general), but that's just my own taste.
