Yes. This is standard operating procedure for all tiered loyalty clubs at all casinos. The only difference between casinos is the date on which the tier credit earning period begins. For programs with 12-month earning periods, the calendar year is usually the earning period (1 Jan - 31 Dec). Boyd (BConnected) is one such program. MGM (Mlife) has the annual earning period begin on 1 October. Stations has 6-month earning periods -- Jan-Jun and Jul-Dec. Sahara also has 6-month earning periods, but theirs go Dec-May and Jun-Nov.

Not sure about the tier credits but if you have a lot of credits for 2019 there eventually will be some carryover into 2020. Right now they start off at 0 but eventually your carry over credits will get put on your account.

Yes, Boyd BConnected resets to 0 for all players January 1st. By the end of January, any players who earned carryover points (points up to a certain amount over their current tier in 2019) will have those points added back.

Just checked the BConnected website and both my wife and I have 500 tier credits showing. Yesterday we both were at 0, so carry-over credits hit our account today. We are currently Sapphire so will need to add 250 more to qualify for Sapphire again in 2021.

I'm at mss now. Put in some play (megabucks &wof) and just swiped my card. I now have 500 tier credits showing. 3rd day here & I earned 70 tier credits so hopefully will get at least 175 tier credits on this trip. Then next trip put in the balance to remain sapphire for 2021.

was sapphire and had 1250 tier points last year, the bulk of which was their bonus, without which I would not have made sapphire-----just checked in and now have 500 along with sapphire to the end of the year----usually come out twice a year and have been staying at mss for 3 nite comps for the last 12 years and earn enough points to cover my food in the buffet and 777------should not be too hard to get 250 more points for sapphire-------hard to figure out their system---however I will continue to ride this horse until it drops----- ----I only play the 25c full pay job at the bar or the 8/5 bp on the floor----

I am in exactly the same boat as you. What do you plan to play to get the 250 additional tier credits?

We play quite a bit at Boyd properties so hitting the 750 tier credit minimum will not be a problem for us. We almost exclusively play JOB or Bonus Poker Video Poker. Three gambling days should get us the credits needed.

My wife and I played just a little on the 1st and 2nd at Sam's Town and at the Suncoast. When we got home, we had enough carry over points to both be sapphire for 2020. My wife now has 1200 and I have 1500.

Just got home on sunday. When I left I had amassed 200 tier credits so I only need another 50 tier credits to remain sapphire for 2021. Should easily get that on my next trip this year.

And I continue to get 4 comped nights + $40 in food credits.

I know that people knock bconned and the new method but for me I'm loving it so far. Hopefully they continue to give me 500 carryover points every year so it will be easier to remain sapphire. When they stop then maybe I will go elsewhere but so far I'm feeling love Boyd is giving me.

Not bad, got 200 tier creidts in a 7 day span. I didn't do much, played megabucks once or twice a day, putting in $21. I also played the WOF quarter machine. very little VP, only put in about $40 in the 7 day period for VP. And I was lucky, won a couple of big wins ($200 and $150) on the megabucks to pay for most of my game time.
