So, what do you think of the 2020 Las Vegas Advisor's Member's Rewards Book?
Looks like a bunch of $25 match plays for DT. Sweet...but the Cal and MSS dropped out.

If Boyd discontinued their DT matchplays in the LVA book I'm honestly kind of glad. For the last couple years it's been a hassle to use them anyway because they'll only let you use one coupon per day even if your coupons come from different books, etc. I can't stand it when casinos issue coupons and then treat you like a criminal for using them. Either accept them graciously or stop issuing them. Sounds like they finally opted for the latter.

$50 matchplay at the Downtown Grand caught my attention.

The 50 dollar one also caught my attention. I think the LVA is a solid value if you are someone who plays and eats downtown. Truth is with one nice dinner and a couple of match plays you can make the cost of the book back. I also like the free play slots. When I take friends which I do every year that are first time Vegas people. It is a simple way to get them playing a few things before we go over to BJ and craps. The books might not be for everyone but they work for me

It cost me $14, and I always make the value back, even if it's a few 2-1 drinks or 2-1 buffets. To answer your question, I believe it dropped off a bit, but still worth the value IMO.

That certainly follows the current Boyd Gaming mantra - make the comps as small as possible and complicate the slot club with hidden tier points and screw the video poker player.

East Coast, How did you get the LVA for only $14. Normally $37 + shipping or free pickup? Are you talking about the ACG or the LVA?? I would like the LVA for $14. What did I miss?

now you know, and have a new challenge of talking your way into using two coupons on one trip, while being treated like a possible criminal.

    (I haven't actually been sweated..
LVA I believe does say players club needs to see you tear it out of the book- which is kind of a PITA,
while ACG has the little card no one has ever asked me for)

I've been asked for the card at a couple of places. Last year at Fremont, Klondike and Emerald Island. Those last two are well off the beaten path and probably not places most people go.

Already picked up the ACG for under $15 it was a no brainer. Still thinking about if we are going buy two LVA for $37 each. Perhaps if the DraftKings offer is still around we can do one with that and buy one for regular price. If we get them, it would also give some nice trade ammunition for coupons we want to double or triple up on.

Don't want to derail thread, but LVA available for FREE at Comp City facebook casino. Just ordered mine there last week. Also spent 25 micro dollars (as opposed to US MACHO DOLLARS) for ACG from Amazon CA. Usually one or two coupons covers cost of book, as others have said.

Thats strange. Running on multiple mobile devices no problems. Will not work on "desktop" facebook though. If you can run Binions or QQQQ apps this should work too...same developer.

Thanks for the quick reply! I was in fact trying it on the desktop version but trying it on the phone gives me an error as well: This game is not available for your phone. I've got a tablet at home that I'll try as well but this seems strange that it always just gives me an error.

    Mini Trip Report: ACG

    I just got back from Vegas...Love Vegas..Love Strip...Love Fremont..etc etc.

    Anyhow.. on Fremont..

I went into Plaza, Fremont, MSS and did the match play.

Here's the thing, it was January 2nd, and no one had updated in their computers the new match plays, they were all messed up. But I eventually got my match play.

    Lost....EVERY...SINGLE...MATCHPLAY.

Not even kidding. I cannot believe that! It was so weird. My karma was in check, lots of tipping, especially the rideshare and wait staff, the horoscope said it would be a good day, I didn't step on a crack, salt was thrown..etc.

    I was just unlucky.

Now for the rest: LVA is on the way, these books are worth it!

Please someone send me some luck, I still have a few match plays left..gotta turn it around, going back in 2 weeks.

Even with losing every Match play, we estimated $100 at minimum savings just on ACG alone, LVA last year We got a ton of match plays, we couldn't even finish it.

I'm getting the LVA this week in the mail! Cannot wait. Love all these books

@LVisBeautiful I feel your pain. There have been times I lost every matchplay too. I remember last December when I played at the Golden Gate and had my 2 $25 promo chips.

I went to the craps table and bought in with one $25 chip on the pass line. First roll was a 2. One chip gone.

Put she second $25 chip on the pass line and the point was 6. Next roll "Seven-out."

Don't give up. Just blame it on a bad shooter ;)
