Back for NYE again... well sort of

I ordered dumplings, mixed vegetables, BBQ pork and scallion pancakes. Just as I got to the room, I got the call that Vons was delivering my order so back down while the family ate. That took a while as the bell desk was super busy but it worked well. Only hiccup was they delivered one gallon water containers instead of the ordered 2.5 gallon. I’ll follow up later. Food was quite good but cold by the time I got back. Thre wasn’t a microwave like past trips so ate it anyway. Definitely will be back

 

After putting the kids to sleep I went to redeem my airfare freeplay snd quickly turned 1200 into 500 on bonus poker. Down 900 before the first pair. Got a couple full houses then moved to Mississippi Stud for about three hours. I was down about 2500 before I started hitting. Ended up winning it all back and leaving about even.

Plan today is to drive to Hoover dam, lake mead to hopefully let the kids feed fish and then Carlitos Burritos for early lunch. Ride for the day

 

It’s been a long time since I was at Hoover Dam and lake Mead. We had a great time especially feeding the fish and ducks

 

Looks like I don’t have any fish photos but it was a frenzy as they tried to get the food. Kids had a ball

So after Carlitos Burritos we headed back to Bally’s for naps with plans to go back out but the valet advised us how crazy traffic would be and the need to get finished by 4-5 pm. We decided to return the rental car and do something close by. I dropped the car and walked to Cromwell to visit the folks we know there, have a cigar and play a bit. VP was terrible so after $700 I moved back to Bally’s Mississippi Stud until family got up. Second hand was a straight which was much needed. Headed back down soon but so tired. Seriously doubt I’ll make midnight

 

Megabucks is pretty high and going up ten dollars a minute

I played megabucks quite awhile leaving up $3 and 381 TCs. After that I should have gone to bed but instead played Mississippi Stud until 11:30 losing 2k. Back to the room and watched the fireworks at midnight. The room had a great view of the fireworks going off at Caesars but also the sound. It woke my wife but not the kiddos

 

Plans for today are Paris spa and massage this morning for my wife while we go on a walk about through Bellagio conservatory and Caesars forum shops for the aquarium and fall of Atlantis. Depending on how they do we might continue on to the Mirage to see the fish and Flamingo to see the Flamingos

After we meet up for brunch at Bacchanal.
