Photos from the Ardee’s suite party that keep moving around. Just can’t get them to post in that part of this post. 14B69C8C-EE0F-4232-9781-F91066E11BDC.jpeg 12700F6C-946C-4B50-AF29-E56E6A747559.jpeg DA703FA1-B28E-49FD-A94C-F1585C7EB312.jpeg A bit of a wrap up on a few things I missed.

Tuesday we had brunch at The Wicked Spoon. I should have picked up my 2for1 at Identity as it came to $140 for the two of us with the mimosa package, holiday pricing. I do enjoy the angry Mac ‘n Cheese.

Loved the meet on Sunday at Chandelier; wish we’d had more time. I was very happy to finally meet @MikeOPensacola, @cvkelz, @luck.ofthe.draw...wish we could have gotten together again, next time! It was great talking to @shawn_d and his lovely bride. Hope our paths cross again. It was great chatting with you @44inarow and of course it is always lots of laughs talking to our very own Queen @Sonya and her hubby Dan, the bonus king.

Our trip highlight was Christmas Eve when we attended the fabulous suite party hosted by @ardee and Mr. ardee. What a wonderful time we had. The Ardees are such gracious hosts and lovely people. I finally met @Retrobabble at the party, a very fun lady! I hope we all do it again next year <3.

I had a very good night gambling on the 26th. Final tally, I came home up $56 plus a tito for $134.70 for Cosmo and $16 something at Palms. I was down around $1400 at one point and thought wasn’t too bad for the long hours of gambling so it was a bonus coming home with a small win.

My husband and I both agree Christmas in Vegas is a new tradition.

Glad to hear this trip was a net win for you. I'll add to everyone else's sympathies regarding the TITO. That's a real bummer, but you're taking it well I think... and the forces of the universe returned it to you in some way :)

This raises an interesting social ethics question... say you pass by a vacant machine which has a decent amount of money in it, clearly vulnerable to being stolen by anyone who's passing by. What's the best thing to do? Personally, I'd be inclined to press the "Service" button and stand guard until an attendant comes so that they can deal with it according to casino procedure (whether that's to wait for the player and ask them for ID to match their player's card in the machine, or cash it out and treat it as "found" money), since that would effectively ensure it ultimately ends up in the right hands.

In any event, I hope you at least made a report to Cosmo about it. Even though you have essentially no chance of getting the money back, they'll have no trouble matching a face to the perpetrator, which should help to deter future instances or aid in a trespass/prosecution.

Hope the trip back was smooth... you picked a good time to come back, it's as pleasant as can be up here right now for late December.

A few years ago at Wynn, I put around $40 in a Wonka machine and after three losing spins, noticed my balance was well over $300 so realized someone had left money in the machine. I hit service and the attendant was trying to "wink, wink, you won" out of what I assume was pure laziness. I insisted the money wasn't mine and a cocktail waitress overheard and said the lady who had just been playing the machine was nearby so took the slot service lady over to her. Indeed, the lady playing previously hadn't noticed she was missing it yet. She tried to give me money to go to dinner, I said no thank you, just happy you got it back. She insisted on giving me what I'd started with so I put it back in the machine and hit immediately for around $400..can't recall exactly but I do remember it was more than had been left in the machine....I'm a believer in karma.

I didn't report it at Cosmo...just thought perhaps it may be turned in. I left a tito in a machine at Palms and got a phone call the next day that it had been turned in so there are good people out there.

It is nice coming back to weather very similar to what we left in Vegas.

@breanna61, a similar thing happened to me at Foxwoods Resort in CT (about a slot attendant).
I had just started to play a new slot and within a couple of minutes an attendant walked up and told me "I'll be right back with your money". Huh? What money? Then I looked to the machine at my right. He was opening to reset and it had credits of over $800 on the display. I told him it wasn't my money. He responded, "Well it is now".
    Nope. No thankya. :nono:
He was not very happy with me. Said he now had to make out a lot of paperwork and have security look at the surveillance video.
I told him it sounded like the right thing to do. :poke:
An hour or so later, my friend and I both hit a minor-jackpot for $777, sitting beside each other.
(The winning amount was part of the machine's feature)
    Good times. :)

Anyway, I'm so happy you had a fun time for your first Christmas in Vegas.
Having everything done without the prep and cleanup can be a nice gift to yourself.
Thanks so much for the wonderful company. A fantastic Christmas Eve, it was.
We hope to spend some fun time with you and husband again next year. :santa:
Glad you had a nice reunion with your pups too.

Great TR. I hope to do Las Vegas during Christmas in 2020.

Man, that sucks big time. It's bad enough that that happened but worse that it happened on Christmas Eve. Who is low enough to do something like that during Christmas?

Are you serious? You think most people would care that it's Christmas? Yes, some people will do the right thing and notify security, but I bet that most people would just take that ticket and cash it. Sad to say, but that is just reality. And by the reactions of the slot attendants in some of these cases, they feel the same way. They just want you to take that ticket and keep the money. I'm sure they see it happening plenty, where people lose or forget their TITO's.
