4k tier creds away from diamond with one trip left to go this year...

So i've always gambled casually and never paid attention to my tier score, i always gambled how i wanted to and let the tier fall where it may. But I noticed that with one trip left go to this year that I'm currently at 11k...

What does my coin in look like in order to hit 15k for diamond? I'm a BJ player but i'd be willing to play slots to make it easier. Even the pit bosses tell me to play slots...

So if I do $2-3 pulls on some nickel machine how long would you say i should be playing to guarantee 4k. what should i safely buy in with?

    Thanks

One tier credit for every $5 on a slut machine. With the 1,000 point bonus you could do it over two days for as little as $10K coin in.

    I would not push it.
As said above, you need 2 days of 1k tier credit each.
You should prepare to lose about $2000 doing that, which is far above the value for a Diamond,
unless you plan to stay 100 days next year at CET places to save the resort feees.

Can’t you tier up with hotel spend, since they’re doing a 5x multiplier now?

Actually, it would be closer to 50 days since resort fees (and tax) runs roughly $40 night or more depending on the hotel. Also, you do get the $100 celebration dinner along with intangibles (e,g. Diamond check-in, FIJI water in casino, shorter lines.).

Just make 8 new friends and sign them up to Caesars Rewards to get 8*500=4,000 Tier Points. Buy them each one beer. A lot cheaper than losing thousands on slots.

They do give you good tier points for playing the big six game. Just throw two bucks on the number one and two and you’ll most likely break even. Then take some breaks and make sure they keep you logged in. One guy at Planet Hollywood is seven star just by playing that game but they rate him well because he buys all the pit bosses coffee and brings the table girls candy.

If you are at 11k tier points this may be the route to go at this point in the year. At least to get you most of the way to your goal.

There are no guarantees when gambling. If things go well it may be easy to reach your goal. If the gambling is bad it may end up a painful lesson in chasing status.

Tables games can be a hard route to take. I play mainly craps and my ratings seems all over the map.

Watch out for promo's. There was one I signed up for (I had to do something in December - maybe someone else here will remember it) that gave me an extra 500 TC's I had forgotten i had signed up for it and thought I had play more than I thought that day. Also, when I was there, National app day gave another 500 TC's (there was a post about that in here). I needed about 1600 TC's to maintain my Diamond status and those 2 made it pretty easy.

Also you will probably miss out on the diamond benefits for this year. In the first year you earn it you can double dip by getting the benefits in that year plus the next year.

I would go and play and spend and see how it goes. My plan was if I got close to the 1000 TC in a day, I would top it off with some VP play. When I try and chase too hard I usually lose more than the benefits are worth.

Do not "count" on table play coming through - you never know what the pit critter will enter. Even he says one thing, you just do not know. Points on slots/vp are exact and easy to track.

As to first year, let me clarify, like most programs, once you earn it, you get it for the rest of the current year and all of the next. In your case, there is no rest of this year,but...

Save the money and find a creative way to tier match through Wyndham.

10k coin in could easily be a 4 digit loss on a game you don't even like.

how many trips (days) did you put in this year to get to 11k tier?

everyone's already told you above... don't chase Diamond tier or comps
especially if you have to change up what and how you play normally

4k TC's?....Pfffttttt. I need 6200 TC's to maintain my Diamond AND I don't get to vegas until 12/29. I have 3 days to hit that number. I will spend most of my time on .25- 3 play DDB VP. If I get my ass kicked right away, I'll turn to bonus poker. With a little luck, I should be able to do 1,000 a day. I'm really hoping for a nice run that will let me get to 2500 and then I won't have to worry.

    No pressure!!!!

That's the first time I've heard that. I've always thought that if I'm playing big 6 (never have) then I'd also be keeping track of my bankroll to keep enough back to buy the $2.50 oil cans of Miller High Life. Just curious, but who logs the players card in at the big wheel since it's not always near the pit?

FYI you probably don't want to factor in any TC from your hotel bill. Even if you check out on 12/31, they take several days to post and will count for 2020, not 2019.

You're correct and I won't. I'm staying until January 3rd and the rooms are comped. It's up to me and a couple of my favorite VP machines that I hope will show me a little love.

If it is within your normal gambling budget, then go for it, but don't chase it. You could lose more than the benefits in real cash, rendering the status costing far more than you may receive in benefits.

I only go to Las Vegas once a year and go to AC a few times a year. Last year at Christmastime, I was a few thousand TC short going into my last AC trip of the year, and I was ready to settle in for a grind of VP after my gambling buddies went to bed after we shot crap for a few hours. I found myself up $1500 playing 10 hands of Ultimate X at a time, and decided to just pocket the cash, even though it would mean relinquishing diamond. I could kept churning and have made diamond and still have been positive for the trip, or I could have given it all back and had to reach for more cash to make diamond. I determined that I could just buy diamond it from founders card and still have over a grand leftover.

Now, if you go to Las Vegas more than I do, those waivers of resort fees can add up making it a positive value, even if you lose a few more hundred chasing diamond. For me I only stay 4 nights in Las Vegas annually, so that plus the Celebration dinner puts it at a value of about $300 to me. I rarely, if ever, use the other benefits so YMMV if you go to shows and hang out in Laurel lounges.

    Either way, good luck!

Depends on where you go. Planet Hollywood it’s in the pleasure pit and one near the escalator. They slide your card right at the table to log you in. The one at Bally’s you just have to go give it to the pit boss across from it. Since my fiancé works at planet sometimes I sit there to kill time. It’s boring but if you have a decent dealer to chat with it’s OK.

    @Gamesman is right, it's 2 x $5,000 coin-in days on slots, that'll get you 2 x 1,000 TCs plus 2 x 1,000 TC daily bonuses.

Unfortunately, PH doesn't have many lov-vol slots left. Look for a Double Diamond 5-line machine with this paytable near the Cafe, if you play $1 denom/$5 spin, it'll take you 2 - 2.5 hours a day. Your loss should top out around $2k. I'm not sure it's worth it this late in the year.
