It is a bit seedy but it didn't bother me. The $5 craps table I enjoyed since I introduced my son to it and wanted low level craps. The dealer was very nice and my son said she looked like an old out of work stripper

Yes I found the steak to be actually pretty good. I rather pay $9.99 than $50.

Don't forget...you can also get the steak special for $7.99 by playing at least $5 in a machine with your player's card and swiping for the coupon at the kiosk.

I quite enjoy Ellis Island and always make a trip there on every Vegas trip.

I'll be going over to check it out on my trip.

You can do the same and get a reduced price for the ribs.

I was there today for breakfast. $6.99 steak and eggs of course. I popped my head in the new part there were some workers in there. It looks really really nice. As an Ellis fan I'm quite happy with it. Looks like it's gonna be nice place for a bite or a drink. I forgot to look if they have bar top VP.

I think it will be cool. Still have the old go to’s and the new and exciting looking Front Yard. Like a blended family. Hope it’s a big success!

    Thanks @westie

The off the menu steak and eggs special for breakfast is tough to beat.

I’ll post pics next Friday if the northeast weather cooperates

I think there was some sarcasm in this comment but it baffles me that this is a real attitude. I have a very good friend that won't eat at certain places because they don't charge enough. I ask him if they doubled the prices would that make him more likely to eat there. In short, the answer is yes.

I won't go to places that are constantly written up by health inspectors but I love a good deal.

This actually looks like a great place for March Madness viewing - wonder if they will have a ticketed viewing party for those days.

Will be in LV in December and most trips we make it to EI for breakfast one day. Will be sure to do that this trip. Have never been there for anything other than breakfast though - but may have to go later to check out the Front Yard which I assume is just a lunch/dinner area.

No sarcasm in my comment. I just meant nothing wrong with the steak or food at Ellis Island. I have never had a bad meal there or thought it was over priced.I did however have a $40+ steak at Gallagher's in New York New York and was expecting to be blow away but calling it average is the best I could do.

My husband and I are fans of Ellis Island and we are looking forward to seeing the new Front yard.

I love their menu prices, and I like their steak special. I think their fried chicken is some of the best, that I have had, other than my own. LOL:feedme: If I want to gamble at all, a $50+ steak is out of the question for us. LOL

On our upcoming trip, Dec. 15th we are going to try the BBQ for the first time. I have heard only good things about it.:woot:

Combing "new" with the "old school" is a good thing, in my opinion. :headbang:

Found this from a couple years ago. I think I got it with an ACG coupon. I plan on wearing it when I’m there Friday night.
    Anyone else going?

I went there to check out the new Front Yard but a sign at the entrance says they don't open until 3:00 pm. An employee confirmed that is true every day of the week.

Yes, it doesn't open until 3 pm even on Sundays. I hope they change that.

I am excited about that new addition. Ellis is becoming a regular stop for me, so I rather see them build than decay. Those fries do look good - how much were they?

I took a quick look around the lower level of The Front Yard last Sunday.

Kind of dark, but looked nice. A tad chilly, they had standing heaters all around. Certainly a different atmosphere than the rest of EI.

There were A LOT more people in the regular EI area than in the Front Yard.
