Christmas Lights Plus Vegas Action, Yes Please!! Dec 11 - 17

I just checked into my SW flight, so now it's time to start the TR!!

This is my 16th Vegas trip, and my 5th this year, which seems crazy to me! Even though it's only been a little over 2 months since my last trip, I am sooooo ready to get back. I have also never been to Vegas in December and I'm looking forward to seeing all the Christmas decorations. I'm hoping that will get me a bit more in the Christmas mood. It's been a little slow coming this year. I'll be staying at Paris my first 4 nights, and then moving over to Cosmo for the last 2. Paris is comped thanks to CET Diamond. For Cosmo I'm using my Sterling night and then got a pretty good rate for a second night. I haven't received any more comped nights from them recently, so I may need to up my play (which won't happen unless I'm winning) or just pay for my stay. I do have $75 in free play from them which I will have to use my first night there, because it expires.

Coincidentally, my daughter is also in Vegas this week. This is her first solo trip and her first TR on VMB. She's been featured in at least one of my TRs, but check out her TR as well @smbrake . When I planned my latest trip, our days just happened to overlap by a couple.

As usual, I have a list of things planned. How many of these I end up doing remains to be seen!

**Food -- I have a $75 comp from CET. I believe it has to be used at one of a short list of restaurants, so I'm thinking GR Steak, since I'm staying at Paris. I also have at least $85 in RCs to use. TBD. I do want to go to MAG for breakfast, but I don't usually eat until 10 or 11 AM, so I'm thinking brunch, maybe on Saturday!
And once I get to Cosmo my favs there are China Poblano, The Henry, and maybe a donut at the District. Have never yet made it to EggSlut because the line is too long for me to wait for an egg sandwich.

**Bellagio - I really want to get to the conservatory this trip to see the Christmas decorations. I didn't make it my last trip, and I try to see it if it's a new setup. I also have some Konami free play there. And a bogo for gellato. So there's that.

**Meet ups -- A few VMB meetups. Planning to meet @notfromconcentrate , and possibly a couple of others. And then a larger VMB on Monday evening the 16th. It's always so much fun to meet people from the board. I love getting to know the people I read so much about.

**The plan is to go see a show with my daughter. Tenors of Rock. I have seen it before, but it's definitely worth seeing again, especially since we can use our Diamond tickets. Hopefully there will still be a ticket available when I get there on Wednesday.

I'm all checked in for my flight on SW. Boarding B29, even though I checked in the minute I could. I may see about purchasing the A upgrade when I get there, since my cc refunds that. Let's hope there are no weird flight changes, delay, back to not delayed, like last trip. And if you have made it through my ramblings this far, thanks for following along! I will try to keep you entertained.

@Astribling - Lucy is freakin' adorable. Is she a terrier/Beagle mix?

 

Awe, thanks! She is a sweetheart! We're not sure exactly what she is. Someone just dumped her on our farm when she was about six months old. I HATE people who do that, but we got lucky with her! She is some sort of hound though. Her face looks a lot like a Foxhound, but her body is smaller.

And it's now 5 o'clock, work is done although I always have to bring my laptop for client "emergencies". But it's time for a Vegas Eve cocktail! Vodka And Baileys. Yum!

Well as usual on Vegas morning, sleeping in will not happen. Even though I don't have to be at the airport until noon, I was awake before 7 and could not get back to sleep. I woke up to 17 degrees outside so it a good day to get the heck out of Indiana!
