Going in January for a week. Would you stay in a Bally’s Resort Studio Suite or a nicer property standard room.

I usually play blackjack, roulette, and Craps for $10-25 minimum tables. My wife enjoys low limit Blackjack so like $5-$10 tables. We will be going to a Golden Knights game and watching the NCAA Football Championship somewhere while there. Otherwise we will probably catch a show or two and a couple nice dinners and visit downtown for a day and maybe the outlet mall so she can get another new purse.

I'm sure we could give you better info if we knew what the other contenders were, but if you prefer low limits in the center strip area, Bally's is very likely your best option.

I haven't seen $5 tables at Bally's before. They have $10 tables (both craps and blackjack) when it's not busy.

We just stayed in a Resort Studio Suite (I think) in October. They are nice rooms, but it's obviously not V/P or Wynncore. We used to stay at the higher end properties (mostly Cosmo) but moved to Bally's as it's a more down to earth crowd. It's still Vegas, so we can still get dressed to the nines and pretend to be glamorous if we want to. My only complaint about the room would be that there's no coffee maker, but other than that they're great. Clean and freshly renovated with plenty of space.

I've stayed in this room a few times. The Resort Tower rooms have all been renovated in the last couple years.

It's larger than Bally's basic rooms, and their basic rooms are some of the larger on the strip. It has a couple very comfy chairs or a couch, as well as a table with chairs. It also has a makeup table area outside the bathroom with a lighted makeup mirror which your wife might like.

And every one of them I've stayed in has had 2 refrigerators.

The bathroom and shower are also decent sized and not cramped.

I really like Bally's for ease of access to the strip, Paris(connected) and Cromwell.

I think you'll be pleased and comfortable with that room.

So Bally’s Resort Studio is $530 a person for the 8 days or we could do Palazzo Luxury 1 King Suite for $721 a person. Vdara Studio is $598 a person

really anything between those price ranges we could also do

Not sure if this is still the case, but Vdara is valet parking only (if you're driving). The only time I stayed there, a valet backed another car into mine as we were leaving. Vdara refused to pay for the damages or provide the video footage...they were basically asking me to lawyer up. I never pursued it because I got rear ended a little while later and my car was totaled anyhow.

Well, if you don't have to deal with the valets then Vdara is very nice. I think the studios also have a kitchenette, which might come in handy over the course of 8 days. Of course, you'll have to hoof it to Aria or Cosmo to gamble.

That's Bally's lowest end non-standard room, and although it's just fine, it's slightly smaller than a standard Augustus tower room at Caesar's Palace for example, and in a much lower end property. There is nothing wrong with it, but I think it's out classed by the other two options you mentioned. Of your 3 listed options, I'd go Palazzo but of course it's the most expensive. You do have lower limit stuff available relatively nearby there at Treasure Island, Harrahs, and if you can handle the bum smell, Casino Royale.

That said, in the 3 days I just spend at Bally's last week, they had $5 craps the day I got there, for a very short time early the next morning, and $10 the rest of the time. Didnt see BJ under $15 I dont think but even that seems low to me compared to places I usually hang. Its a basic place, decent enough, but if you're paying and it's not a peak time, you may be able to do better for the money. Depends how much you value room vs location and what you value in location.
