I need to change my response on this. I was in Vegas two weeks ago and placed some sports bets at the Aria. The lady taking my bet asked if I wanted to have my card scanned for the bets and I said ok. That was a first.

If you wager enough, mlife properties ask for your card. But you're still not earning any comps (except maybe for horse and dog racing). They have asked me for my card for years

I have always had my card scanned since joining CET. Part of the reason why I get good comps etc haha

I've given them my card for the handful of sports bets I've made. Why not? Unless you're just popping in to place a wager and don't want to trigger a gaming day...

They ask for your card so that they can track your sports betting activity.
