5 Nights Comped at Caesars - Which Property?

Hi. Got 5-7 nights comped for a basic room at a Caesars Property other then Cromwell, Caesars, or NOBU. Which Property do you pick and Why?

 

Paris or Planet Hollywood because they have probably the nicest rooms of your choices and excellent location, plus decent casinos and ambience. Bally's is also acceptable with large rooms and even better location being dead center and having a monorail stop but the casino is small and not great. Short trip to every CET property though other than Rio.

 

Harrah's. (excluding the three properties that you mentioned as not having comps for)

1)Closest room elevators to main valet
2)Newly remodeled rooms (both towers)
3)Food options at all levels
4)A wide variety of slot machines and table games
5)centrally located to all CET casinos north of Flamingo

 

Paris is normally my home away from home. I like the shorter hallways, convenient elevators, varied food options, and just the overall atmosphere. I have been totally comfortable at Ballys & Flamingo also. Nothing against Harrahs - we just had a room over Carnaval Court last time and I prefer to just play there vs. stay there. PH to me is at the south end and I feel like it is just a hassle to get past the crowds in front and into the casino. So for now I'll skip that one.

 

Also, if we're talking about soon, Harrah's had a pretty big portion of the casino closed off for construction and jackhammers and a lot of otherwise loud construction things going on as of a few days ago when I last walked through there. Construction back toward the monorail too, and their rooms are on the small side. Agree on the points Dailun made but I'd want a nicer larger room if I'm staying for 5 to 7 days. Dont forget also that Harrahs is next door to Casino Royale, which is both a pro and a con!

 

Planet Hollywood, because that is where I get a hotel room when it’s not Caesar’s.

Ok, some reasons. The rooms are good. The casino floor is nice. I can easily walk across the street to Cosmo, which I do.

 

Going to make a pitch for Bally's. Easy access to valet off of Flamingo, newly updated large rooms with easy and cheap upgrades, quick walk to Cromwell which is my new favorite casino, decent food options and the access to miracle mile and it's variety of food and shopping options can't be beat.

 

Bally's actually has a surprisingly decent restaurant collection and nice casino floor. Plus, it's connected to Paris by walkway, to Caesars by overpass, and is a pretty great location. They probably need a room renovation at some point, but it's solid overall.

I'm a huge fan of Planet Hollywood. The ultra hip room (base tier) is spacious, has a decent tub/shower and I'm a big fan of the casino floor. It is also right at the border of CET properties on the strip so it's basically in the middle of everything. Great for walking across to Comso for some eggslut at 8am. (And getting it at 9am most days due to the massive eggslut line )

The biggest downside for me and PHo is that beyond gordon ramsay burger I don't dig the food that much. Strip House is good, but being good in a town with great isn't going to get me in the door.

I do like being close enough to Nacho Daddy to ensure i can go grab those delicious filet nachos.

All that being said I'd also think about the kind of vibe you're going for. PHo feels like an early 2000s MTV party, music wise a lot of older poppy hiphop, some rock, and that late 90s/early 2000s pop dance stuff that was riding the techno wave. The pleasure pit has gogo dancers at night while you're playing, etc. Just something to bear in mind, in case that asthetic is a dealbreaker.

I can't attest for parking, the miracle mile, etc. I generally dont come to vegas to shop, and i certainly do not drive in vegas since i spend most of my gambling time boozing it up.

 

Out the front door, up the escalator towards Bellagio, and then over the bridges (you do admittedly have to step briefly into Bellagio).

 

Yeah, I guess so, I guess it depends on where you are in Bally's when you start. I would cross the street into Cromwell, then take that bridge to Casesars.

 

Fair, you can do that too, but it's still two escalators (you can't cross Flamingo at street level).

 

Yes you can. There's a crosswalk just east of the Cromwell entrance.

 

I like Paris, the rooms are decent, and there are lots of good food choices. Additionally you can walk into Bally's without going outside. Plus Planet Hollywood is also next door too.

 

Good catch -- I always forget about that crosswalk!

 

You have to make sure you're not in a rush because sometimes that crosswalk takes a few minutes. You could also carefully test your luck and cross when there are no cars nearby, however

 

Paris. Burgundy room is the best standard room you're going to find outside of Caesars or Cromwell, and the location can't be beat. Try to get an Eiffel view if you can, pretty stunning.

Nice basic room, love the casino and atmosphere (not for everyone though. Cryptrot summed it up pretty good)

2nd. Flamingo.
Nice room if you get the flamingo room. Thats the newest renovated one. Casino is pretty good. Close to linq pomenade and cromwell.
