The next morning (Sunday 11/24) we woke up early and got our stuff together to go spend time with LadyFox’s extended family in Vegas. It was about a 30 minute drive from downtown. After spending about an hour I was released to go meet my buddy at the Cosmo sports book.

He’s a Broncos fan and got us a table with one of the only views of that game (Bills/Broncos).

We ordered a bunch of Coors Lights and enjoyed the game with a man we had just met from Buffalo. Great conversation and a fun environment. The service is excellent at Cosmo. I ducked out during the fourth quarter to go check into our room so we could charge the beers to the room.

The front desk had almost no wait at all (it was before noon) and the gal I had was extremely polite and professional. I handed her my ID, credit card, Identity card, and $20. We were originally booked for a Terrace studio (we booked online through the hotel). She said they have none of those available right now but would be happy to provide a complimentary upgrade to a Terrace One Bed. Perfect! This was our first time staying at Cosmo and it suited our needs perfectly, no pun intended.

I head back to the Sportsbook and close out our tab to the room. Then my buddy helps me move our luggage up to the room.

We say our goodbyes and I head downstairs to get some chicken tenders from Hattie Bs. Very delicious! A great tasting seasoning and perfect texture. They look hard but they’re actually really tender.

Then I played some craps till LadyFox arrived. She gets cleaned up and we hit some slots and Chandelier Bar VP before Zumanity.

I had my first Verbena which was fun. LadyFox tried the flower and was not a fan. Then a Mr. Miyagi and one of the Pansies drinks. I did not eat the flowers.

Then we walked over to New York New York for Zumanity. This was one of the only Cirque shows we haven’t seen and we enjoyed it. It’s definitely not kid-friendly as it’s basically a giant celebration of sex complete with lots of innuendos and bare breasts.

After the show we grabbed a bottle of wine and a bath bomb from Walgreens and drew a bath to take advantage of that giant tub in our room.

After bath time, I went downstairs and hit the craps tables and a few machines. A couple nice line hits on Buffalo Gold Revolution:

The next morning (Monday 11/25) we woke up late and headed over to Mon Ami Gabi for brunch. It was delicious as always. That environment and food remains a really great value for us.

After brunch, we headed back to Cosmo to gamble all afternoon. And drink tons of Mimosas. Not tons to show unfortunately, but it was a great time.

LadyFox wanted a snack so we headed to District Donuts to share a donut.

We were planning on doing the Ice Rink but it was closed due to high wind levels. We thought that was dumb and wanted some fresh air so we walked outside to go see the Bellagio fountains. Well, they were not joking about the high wind and we immediately went back inside.

Decided to try Wicked Spoon for the first time and use the 2 for 1 Sterling benefit. You have to go to the Identity desk and ask them to load it on your card.

Wicked Spoon was really great! We aren’t huge buffet people but this was one of the better buffets we’ve had. A comfortable environment as well.

After dinner we slotted some more before LadyFox went upstairs to crash. I hit the Craps tables and had an awesome time with the evening crew. Because our flight was so early the next day, I just decided to stay up all night. Played craps for quite awhile and dinked around in the high limit room for a bit too. When I was winding down the craps session around 3am, I asked the pit boss if there was a host on duty and that I wanted to meet him or her.

He called and asked the host to come down to the table and I introduced myself. I asked him if he would look at my play over the last couple days and see if I’d qualify for any backend comps. He took a look right there and said he’d be able to take care of all our Cosmo spend including room, fees, drinks, and restaurants. What a nice way to end the trip!

I appreciate everyone following along. Having done a trip report now (and a semi-live one for part of the trip), I know how difficult it can be to remember to take pictures and notes and take the time to write all this up. I have immense respect for everyone who is willing to do this to the benefit of our community. So… thanks!

If there are any questions or anything regarding our trip, I’m happy to answer. Until next time, take care!

Sounds like a great trip. Nice to have the host take care of the bill. Also, smart to ask while you were still at the table. Thanks for letting us tag along

Returned home on Thanksgiving evening and just now catching up on your re-cap. Thank you for taking the time and energy to put this report together.

If I wasn't such a technology dud (I feel SO old) it would be fun to attempt to do what you do so well. I also wish I had tried to meet up with you and buy you a drink, being that we had a bit of an overlap on our stay at the Cosmo.

Cheers to you and LadyFox and hurray for BabyKits.

    All the best!

Most excellent TR, especially for a first time live. Really good balance of pics and words, easy to follow along. I will definitely follow your adventures on your sophomore attempt!
