Any way for solo traveler to take advantage of 2-for-1 buffet coupons?

I see that a lot of the coupons in ACG for buffets are 2-for-1 deals. Since I'll be traveling solo, I figure that I won't be able to take advantage of these coupons.

Has anyone found that any of the buffets offering these deals will let a solo traveler in for half-price? Would a casino give me a hard time if I began asking people on the line if they wanted to join me on the deal? I realize I can maybe just treat someone and I do like doing that sometimes but I am trying to be thrifty.

Finally, do any buffets offer takeout, so that I could take out 2 containers worth of food if I used the coupons?

I'd appreciate any ideas that people have on how to make these coupons work. I would even be down to meet up with someone to use one if anyone is interested (in Vegas from Friday 10/25 until Tuesday 10/29).

1/2 Price Buffet - this past May at Treasure Island
I was at TI and was given a bunch of coupons when I checked it. One of the coupons was for 2 for 1 buffet. I was solo and asked the cashier if I could get the buffet for 1/2 price - without hesitation she said no problem and only charged me 1/2 price - nice! It was a middle of week night and there was no one in line so I do not know if that made a difference of not.

Buffet To Go - this past May at Harrahs and Mirage
I also tried two different buffets to go: Harrahs and the Mirage. Harrahs was $21 for the container to fill up and a beverage (soft-drinks/ice tea) to go. Mirage was $16 (unbelievable !!!) for the container to go but did not include a beverage. Both to go container boxes were about the same size. At both Harrahs and the Mirage they give you the container after you pay, you fill it up and then you have to see a worker near the buffet exit when you leave (the worker looks to insure that the top of container must close) and they give you a bag for the container and plastic silverware. The to go buffet is not the most fun way to eat in Vegas but due to health reasons my days of eating like a madman in Vegas are over. For the Harrahs and Mirage to go, I only selected vegetables and baked chicken for the containers, but each container was big enough to give me a solid dinner, a late evening snack and some left-overs for breakfast. Total prices $26 at Harrahs ($21 + $5 tip to silverware lady) $21 at Mirage ($16 + $5 tip to silverware lady) Staying at the TI with a refrigerator in the room makes the to go buffet workable if you do not eat everything in one sitting. When I go back this Nov for the Wilder -Ortiz fight I will try to repeat the 1/2 price solo TI buffet and will definitely hit the Mirage again for the $16 to go buffet. As far as using a 2 for 1 on the to go, my instinct tells me that they will not honor that - but you can certainly give it a try!

Here is a brief update on take out buffets center strip area. Mirage has eliminated their take out buffet option; Harrahs still has the takeout buffet option. Price at Harrahs for take out buffet is $15 for lunch and $21 for dinner.

 

Wicked Spoon at Cosmo offers a take away option and you can also get a coupon for half off in lieu of BOGO.

 

The buffet at Paris also has/had a take away option...I only did take away for the breakfast buffet which ,IIRC, was $11.99 (beverage not incl.)....lunch and dinner buffets were proportionally more expensive...

 

You will be happy to know that for 2020, ACG 2 for 1 coupons at all Station Casinos state right on them 50% off when dining alone.
