This Year I'm thankful for 2 nights at Cosmo and 3 at Bally's 11/24 - 11/29

Haha ironic this is my next post, but I FINALLY got a decent Buffalo bonus game at Paris! 36 free games total, 2 symbols.

 

I just cant help but love the Paris High Limit room. I put a $168 voucher in here 8 spins ago. It's at $402 now.

 

Well I decided to do @notfromconcentrate plan of silly risking $300 on $9 per spin and go for broke trying to get a bonus. No bonus and lost almost all of it, but then I played HL Cleo and won back a little over $200 on a couple wins and 1 bonus on quarter denom.

Now I'm hauling ass to iron this shirt again and suit up for Thanksgiving dinner at Bouchon at 4:00

 

Dang, too bad the long-shot plan didn't work out. At least you managed to knock out 60ish TCs from that alone, and win back most of it at Cleo.

I haven't had an "American" thanksgiving meal since 2010, so I'm most definitely looking forward to Bouchon footage!

 

No regrets! Each time I got those two bonus symbols and the 3rd wheel was flying around and blinking and making noises, it was a helluva rush!!! Might try some $20 cleo later depending on how bank roll goes.

And here is the lobster main course. I'm going to be honest; to me, the lobster tail was the worst thing on the plate, and there was nothing whatsoever wrong with it

Dessert. Omg! Fresh made brownies with chocolate ganache, candy pearls, vanilla bean ice cream, and a giant portion of creme brulee!

 

Really, not bad at all for the items, quality, quantity, and especially the date.

 

Y'all...I found actual formal denim!

And the food on the plates were really tiny.

 

Portions were decent size. Plates were pretty big. I left feeling stuffed but not bloated and sick, and we couldnt finish the creme brulee because we were too full. The lady at the table next to us had the steak Bouchon which was a ribeye but about 4 inches thick and it was a mountain. It looked really excellent and we should have gotten one and shared both. She couldnt finish her dinner and neither could her man date. I do think the lobster and foie gras portions were both a little smaller than all the other choices, probably because there wasn't an up charge for either.

 

So after dinner we went to Madam Tussaud's with free passes from MyVegas and I sure am glad we didnt pay a cent for it. It was a little bit neat to see once, and obviously some of the wax people are pretty impressively well done, but for the most part, it's a selfie warehouse. It was really small overall and in spite of that you are routed through 3 or 4 different places where they tried to push add on fees and stuff that cost extra. Absolute rip off tourist trap no doubt. We did have a little fun with it but it was literally a 20-30 minutes or less thing.

 

After the wax museum, we met up with @luck.ofthe.draw right outside, and with her and me both in spitting distance to Casino Royale, it was inevitable that we stop there for a few minutes of gambling. I think all three of us used their bank of lightning links as an ATM to some extent or another, and had a lot of fun playing Sharknado and Big Bang Theory. Then we played Wonkas and lost money because that is what all Wonka machines do 99% of the time lol.

 

We walked from there through Harrahs to Linq to catch the monorail back to Bally's. There is still construction in Harrahs, and the Harrah's monorail station is literally from the Linq parking garage right now down a temporary hallway and over a bridge made of construction rafters or something. On the way through Linq, we stopped at O'sheas and got free frozen Baileys by flashing our diamond cards and dropping a couple dollars in tip money (and we didnt try at ALL the bars, but I don't think we got turned down for free diamond drinks anywhere, and I even got an $18 vodka and red bull at Sully's in Bally's)

This was a golden opportunity for me though because I've always heard the legends of lake Swenson and the Linq parking garage river Rapids, and I got to witness the latter up close and in person. Definitely a site to behold!

 

Well the bell VIP shuttle just picked up my guest to leave for the airport...in this, solo. Nice ride. I hope I'm as lucky. I've had 3 rides so far and yet to get a stretch. I've gotten 2 "executive towncar" and one Escalade so far.

 

One would think after YEARS! of this something might be done?

 

Well sadly, I must say goodbye to Vegas for a while. I cant wait to come back but as of right now, my next day here will be the 3rd or 4th of July due to some other trips and that damn work interfering.

My driver just texted he's almost here and of course I got an Escalade again. Now 0/4 on stretch limos but the escalades are nice.
