At Parasol Up right now.
Husband ordered an Apple Butter Old Fashioned and I’m gonna try a When Life Gives You Lemons libation. Don’t see a familiar server or bartender so maybe no White Cosmo today.

 

Yay! Eva's here. Getting the Cosmo. Woot!

 

Woo hoo special drinks and the bar snacks look good too!

@Richard Alpert! So good to see you back on VMB. We all missed you!

 

I may try that Apple Butter one tomorrow. As I kid I loved Apple Butter on warm buttery toast.

 

It’s really tasty, @Flowers. A nice slow sipper while people watching by the holiday decorations.

 

So pretty. I love holiday decorations. Wynn does such a beautiful display.

 

How was the drive?, that looked a lot more blue sky than apocalyptic rain and ice.
And nice rainbow... go find the pot of gold!

 

Back and forth, really. We drove through a “cloud” with high winds and rain at some elevation with very limited visibility. Glad husband is a good driver and not crazy. Well, in that way.
Still got there in 3 hours and change thanks to the Highway Patrol presence, not a lot of nuts on the road driving like crazies.

Back up in the suite hanging for a while and getting ready for dinner at Sinatra.

Great reporting Ardees! I love that little turkey plushie! I really need to get to Parasol, Up or Down. Get the feeling the bartenders won't give my the psychic eye roll when I ask them to make me something but I don't know what I want. They seem to know their stuff! Good luck today!

 

I like those Buffalo collector machines. did quite well on them the last two trips.

 

They have a specialty cocktail menu too, @carolineno. It describes the ingredients to each of the drinks they offer, along with every other liquor to make you a nice concoction of your choosing. I think you'd like it. Nice and laid back even though it's on the casino floor.
