Mr. & Mrs. Vegas 2019 – Just the Facts

Day 2: Fact: Mr V’s morning started at 4:22 AM followed by Mrs V at 5:00 AM. We found this is great time to hit the slots at the Bellagio – it was nice and quiet. Wife lost 20 on Plant Moolah I lost 20 on Heidi and Hannah then we found 007 JAMES BOND the real one with Sean Connery and won 60 so up 20 for this session.

Next we showered and headed over to the Cromwell - lost 20 real fast on Bier House and another 20 on Lucky 7’s , then won 30 on quick hits then gave back 20 on vp so down 30.

Now it is an hour from Bacchanal time so we head to Ceaser’s Palace. Took them for a quick 50 at JIN LONG so that was good. It’s now 11:00 - time to hit the Bacchanal Buffet. Not our favorite buffet. The frog legs were the highlight. Very disappointed in the wagyu beef - my mom made better roast out of a holstein than that. We still put ourselves in a food coma.

After dinner, we took a nap and we were woke by a phone call from home telling us there was a blizzard - sweet we missed it!

Once we woke up we drove to the OYO for a chip and to use the LVA coupons. Mrs V got the new card and received a 5 FP bonus from the slot club. She then played her FP and won 25 on PM then lost 10 on AMERICAN GODS - so up 15. I played craps and lost 30. Total down at the OYO - 15. At OYO the tables were almost all full and not many slot players.

Next we decided to hit the SILVERTON - it was still there. Mrs V checked out the fish tank while I looked for a slot to play and found Return of the Invaders from Planet Moolah. The uni-cow made a couple of appearances but in the end I dropped 40.

We decided to use our “free” parking to check out Mandalay Bay, Luxor, and Excalibur. We did no gambling at these casinos. MB was dead, the Luxor and the Castle were crowded. We saw that they closed RED SQUARE at MB. That is one item on my bucket list that will never get full-filled.

By the time we finished making the tram circuit to these three properties, we were feeling a bit peckish so we drove to JERRYS NUGGET for some desserts - eclaire for me and milk cake for Mrs V. Both were excellent. We played roulette and finished up 15 and dropped 30 on Cleopatra - Scarub slot so down 15.

Day 3:

Fact: Today we check out of the Bellagio the room was awesome the rest was meh for us - too busy and expensive. Next up - 2 days at The STRAT we have never stayed there but we got a mailer for 2 free nights so were going to give it a try. After checking out we are headed to the Hoover Dam Lodge to try our hand at a little bingo.

 

Fact - we are not going to play bingo at the Hoover Dam Lodge as they took it out 2 weeks ago

 

Fact- it’s partly cloudy today

 

Fact - checking out Sarah’s Kitchen at the Klondike

 

Fact - Sarah’s Kitchen hit the spot - 2 specials came to $10.80.

Fact - spent a couple hours at the Clark County Museum for only four bucks total - pretty cool place and not busy...the next series of pics represents time spent there
