    My Trip Report

Mr. & Mrs. Vegas 2019 – Just the Facts

Fact: At 12:37 pm CST Mr. & Mrs. Vegas left the Sioux Falls SD international airport on an Allegiant A319 Airbus.

Fact: At 1:08 pm PST Mr. & Mrs. Vegas arrived at McCarran airport Las Vegas, NV .

Fact: After a smoke and a Bloody Mary they were on a shuttle to the rent a car center.

Fact: It took 15 min to get the shuttle to said center.

Fact: You have to take a second shuttle from the rent-a-car center to get to Fox Rent A Car - this took an additional 10 min, but in just another 10 min we were on are way. (35 minutes total)

Fact: Mr. Vegas rented a Jeep Wrangler 4 door this time - he has always wanted to drive one now he got his wish.

Fact: Mr. Vegas will never own a Jeep Wrangler.

Fact: Checked into the Bellagio at 2:33 PM. The Bellagio is a beautiful property, it is large and very busy today. The price for this beauty and spaciousness is that it is very expensive to do anything here.

Fact: On the advice of @spicoli we headed to the Eureka Casino to eat at FAT CHOY for supper.

Fact: I had the FAT CHOY Burger & Mrs. V had the Classic Cheeseburger. They were awesome and we thought they were better than the burgers we had at Holsteins in the Cosmo a couple of years ago. For the price, they blow Holsteins away plus we used our LVA 2-4-1. Supper only cost $16.00. We win!

Fact: If you’re a first time card player you can win prizes in the Eureka Casino. I won a coffee mug - it only cost around $120.00. Slots did not go well on that front but hey they were also out of said coffee mugs so I got $10.00 free play instead. Saturday night there is drawing for new players club members with the chance to win free play of up to $150. We’re going back to eat and see if we won any free play. While Mrs. V was playing bar tops I got a SHOCK TOP TAP - they did not have GRAIN BELT.

Fact: After the Eureka Casino we headed to the New SAHARA casino. Mrs. V got a CLUB 52 card and promptly got no free play but 1000 pts added to her card - wonderful. New players go to the kiosk and “spin” to win. She won the points instead of free play. I dropped $200.00 on slots. Mrs. V won $6.00 on roulette. Random thoughts on the new Sahara: It’s quiet, it’s hot and it just seems kind of boring. Lipstick on a pig if you know what I mean.

Fact: After the new Sahara casino a trip to a CVS was requested by Mrs. V. The stop was made and supplies were procured.

Fact: At 9:00 PM we returned to the Bellagio to write this trip report and get some sleep. One more thing about the Bellagio - if you get the feared room with the connecting door and get lucky enough to have loud children next door - it sounds like they’re in the room with you. We have found a radio channel that plays death metal - I’m going to turn it up now and go down for smoke I hope they enjoy their music.

Respectfully submitted by Mr. and Mrs. Vegas.

I love the Bellagio. We’ve been lucky there with connecting door- no noisy neighbors. But MGM terrible. We had to request new room once because of screaming toddler. It was non stop. Then once there must have been at least ten young women- all talking loudly again non stop. We banged on our door. Yelled shut the f up and called security. We stayed 5 nights and on night #3 we were going to ask for a new room but they checked out.

Hope the noise level in the room gets better. I hate connecting rooms.

Good summary of Day 1! Bummer about the eureka play for you. And if eureka did have grain belt, I'd be shocked! Haha

They don’t have caller id. Call room to room. Say “WTF? We are across the hall and all we hear is (insert all you hear) and if you don’t get a handle on it I’m calling security to send up deputy dawg!!” Let the people across the hall deal with the fallout from such a rude phone call.

Thanks Val and Tring the Death Metal for 15min seemed to cured the noise issue and I never thought they would have grain belt just like to ask. Well this morning started at 4:30 am still on standard time, went down to get Mrs.V a diet coke for $5.00 at the logo shop and smoke on the way back Mrs.V was playing Invaders from the plant moohlah she dropped $20.00 with no success then we played some Heide and Hannah and lost another $10.00 we then found 1 of are favorites JAMES BOND THUNDERBALL and cashed out for $88.00 so not to bad. Today we have a travelzoo coupon for the Bacchannel buffet at Ceasers and we want to swing by the Cromwell and Paris to kill time before the buffet.

I like your novel way to present “facts”! Bummer with the noise, but love your Death Metal response. Best of luck in your gambol

Fact - Mr. Vegas remembers the days when these used to be shinier because everyone touched them when they walked by
