@annbrown57 @Astribling ,My concern about the Diamond Lounge is that at the other meet ups I've done, not everyone arrives at the same time. Sort of showed up in the first 30 or 40 minutes or so. Would that be an issue for getting people in?[/QUOTE]

I’ve always taken my guests all at the same time because they “register” them (must have a CET card any level) but I don’t know about running in & out.

Bally’s/Paris would be great for me, I’m having knee surgery in January - that’s why I’m switching hotels 4 times because the bone on bone has won the walking all over the strip. But there’s always Uber if everyone wants to go elsewhere.

After the previous posts, I was leaning toward voting for Bally's new lobby bar. But now it definitely gets my vote. Plus it's even a bit more central for the folks staying farther north.

Is everyone good with Bally's Lobby Bar?

Seeing my name listed, I figured I would bring something up in this thread (as well as my own thread in this section). I'm sure I'm about to get some wide eyed reactions, but here it goes: I am NOT a drinker!!! That's why in my thread in this section I listed the restaurants that I will be eating at during my trip. If anyone wants to meet at one of the restaurants I will be at, great!!! I'll be skipping the bars.

No wide eyed reaction from me, when it comes to not drinking. More often than not, I order a coke or a non alcoholic drink, even at bars. And I've never had anyone, even raise an eyebrow. LOL

    It's not hard to find.
    - If you are coming from Paris: once you enter Bally's casino, it's at a 45 degree angle to your left along the far wall.
    - Coming from any other entrance.Make your way to the Bally's check-in area. The Lobby Bar is behind the Lavazza Coffee Bar and Total Rewards desk. There are stairs on either end to take you down.

I didn't think of the non alcoholic drink. Good point. That does defeat the purpose of bars though, doesn't it?!? ;) :goofy: I've actually never had any alcoholic drinks during my 19 trips to Las Vegas.

Shane, if you're doing a red eye out, consider stopping by on the way to the airport. Elsewise, have a great trip and good luck.

I'm usually drinking ice tea and surprisingly most of the bars already have it made or make a hot tea with a glass of ice really quick. Never been an issue.

If you're in the neighborhood and feel like dropping in' please feel welcome. No one would give you grief for having non-alcoholic drinks.

My dad and I went to Vegas a few times and he NEVER in his life had alcohol. So it's not a strange concept to me at all.

GS - now the question is what time? Thought, if we met up 4:00-4:30 if some people then wanted to go to Paris Diamond Lounge for lite snack or BLT for dinner before anyone heads to a show?

OK. The details have been hashed out. Those who expressed interest have been tagged. However, anyone who sees this and wants to come is welcome. If you're not familiar with where Bally's Lobby Bar is, the location is described in post #48. Looking forward to seeing everyone !
