Early renderings I saw suggested that there was going to be some sort of lazy river feature. Of course, things have changed so much, so who knows. I think its still going to be in front (south) of where the tower is, on top of the low rise structure currently being constructed.

I've always found it interesting to contemplate opening one of these places. It goes far beyond just building the shell. Think about cutting and laying the carpet in the casino and all the rooms and hallways and elsewhere. Think about the wall coverings, paint, ceilings, lighting, restaurant kitchens, HVAC ducting and controls. And the 3,400 rooms in the hotel part: think of installing and plumbing 3,400 commodes, 3,400 sinks, 3,400 showers.... 3,400 mattresses, desks, doors, tables and chairs, TVs, TV/internet hookups. I know they probably have it down to an art, but it still boggles the mind!

The trim, the lighting fixtures, the orientation of the slot machines, the wifi network, the server room, the security room, the cameras, the furniture....it's nuts. But, i love it

I've always found it super interesting when you compare what you are talking about to building a highway. How hard is it to scrape dirt and put concrete on it? Little electric work, no plumbing except for drains, none of the things you mention. But they'll build this complicated building in two years or so but it takes 10 years to build a highway. Or longer! What's up with that?

I guess they will try and open as soon as they can - need to get some income from that project. But an opening around Friday Feb. 12, 2021 would work. Year of the OX. Symbol of Hard Work, Peace and Justice.

Are they still supposed to have an indoor water park?...or did that get scrapped in their plans?

Highway is built by the government. Private sector is now always faster.

Construction could be an should be even quicker. Need to significantly trim down permitting and environmental reviews.
