Completely upfront about the charge !
" nickel and dime " Vegas saps....
    .
    Why don't they just call it a " Resort Fee " ?
Some people have no problem with that .

I will do for these charges what I always do when I am charged incorrectly, like being charged a regular price for something that was suppose to be happy hour price. Instead of wasting my time getting the bill corrected and then paying, I tell the server, "You charged me the wrong price. I tipped you 20% on the correct price. Have your manager adjust the bill so you can get it all."

    • Cabo Wabo Cantina at Planet Hollywood
    • Hexx at Paris Las Vegas
    • Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas
    • Alexxa’s Bar at Paris Las Vegas
    • Chayo Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar at Linq Promenade
MGM and TI also had fees at select restaurants, but after negative feedback they no longer charge these at their facilities. Wouldn't have considered going to these places anyway. Beer Park only has a few worthwhile drafts on their menu, at very expensive prices. There has to be better alternatives than the rest of these places. Paris was among the first (Flamingo was the first) to roll out 6/5 BJ, not surprised CET continues to roll with this.

“It’s only a handful of bars and restaurants on the Strip that are doing it, but it’s a slippery slope that could get worse,” Roeben said. “It’s up to customers to push back on crazy charges like these — not just for you but for every customer that follows you.”

Funny they dont just raise the price of everything 5%. Its not like the food is that cheap to start with, no one would even know the increase was made.

Veronica Sawyer posed a similar question in Heathers.

This has been discussed many times and unlike the Park MGM restaurant, the restaurants mentioned in the article don't seem to care. I met a friend at the Paris Beer Park and had one beer, I politely asked to not be charged the fee when I ordered my beer, the bartender didn't say anything and when I received the bill the fee was there. I politely stated you charged me the fee I requested you not to charge and that I would like it removed, bartender stated "do you really want me to get a manager?" I said yes, it took nearly 15mins for the manager to appear and the manager wasn't at all friendly but did remove the fee. Best to simply skip going there in the first place as they make you feel like a jerk.

A tip of the beer mug to you!

If enough people do this and drive them nuts, maybe they will take the freaking fee off. Just raise the price of the drink to take care of it.

To me, it is worse the 6:5 blackjack. At least they let you know that before you play. This fee just sneaks in there and people pay it.

I like BeerHaus. I don't remember seeing it on their receipts. It's not too expensive either. $8 for a craft beer.

$8 for A craft beer seems expensive when I can get a 12 pack of craft Busch Light for the same price.

True! I'm in this phase of having just a couple IPA's and it gets me perfectly buzzed. Doesn't get me too full or bloated either.

They're doing it for "the customer experience". Come on Drew, don't be an ingrate!
