TI

About two years ago I moved from Caesars (after 40 years) to TI - reason I moved - Caesars good rules black jack tables in the pit were raised to $50 minimum. During our last comped stay there, they would not let us valet park - even after we offered to pay for valet parking. - TI has the same favorable rules for their blackjack - but have ten dollar min table which allows my companion who does not bet as much, play at the same table. While TI's rooms are not as nice as Caesars, they are clean and comfortable - I have now stayed at TI for the last 3 visits and will be going again in a week - I have found the staff very friendly and the casino comfortable with more comps being granted with my same level of play than I was getting at Caesars. TI is comping food and free play as well as the room. The crowd at TI's is not as sophisticated as the Caesars crowd but there is a lot of energy in the casino and their clientele are very friendly. I am happy with my new home and feel that it would be a good value stay for any level of player.

Pluses at TI - free valet parking, free self parking, many offers have the ability to decline the resort fee, refrigerator in the room, central location, CVS on site -
negative - no coffee pot in room, but I take my own single serve machine.

 

Very old info. The (3) VP machines near high limit/craps that offer the best games (9/6JB, etc) are $4.50 per point.

The new member promo is a solid play. $11,250 CI netted $90 in FSP plus a $60 comp to their surprisingly good coffee shop. The marketing mail which will follow soon will be more gravy on the play.

 

My BIL is there now and said he was moved to a recently reno'd room on the 35th floor. (traffic noise in his first room). I will get more details when he is back.

 

TI is one of the more underrated properties in Vegas. If not the most, IMO. I've always had a good experience with staff and the awesome amenities there!

 

TI was the place I stayed during my first solo trip to Vegas in 2009. I loved it then, and I still loved it when I stayed again in 2017.

The rooms were recently renovated during my first trip; and although they didn't make any major changes, the rooms seemed to be well maintained. It felt luxurious, maybe even slightly better than Mirage. But the casino feels a little dull, maybe less luxurious compared to how their rooms feel.

I keep getting offers from them and I started paying a visit on my last three trips. Play some VP, and earn 250 pts, get $25 FP. Most of their offers are with optional resort fees.

The only reason I don't choose TI more often is I keep getting good deals from Mlife and I had a ton of MyVegas LP to spend. Under the right circumstances, I would definitely stay there.

 

I agree about the smell. There was a good VP play there years ago and I was staying at the Wynn. I would walk over there each morning and debate if I could play for hours. I asked other people around me about the smell and they couldn’t smell it. I thought I was going crazy. It smells like rotten sewage eaten and deficated out of the ass of Senior Frog himself. I almost vomited after taking a sour shot and then smelling the TI smell. It is that bad. And I play primarily in Reno.
