As a kitten, our orange tabby Caelan tried to jump on and "ride" our senior cat Havoc back in the day. Just like in the above pic. Still tries it on occasion.
I started on a pet project yesterday and I'm hoping it turns out. I plan to move in the next year or so and am trying to thin things down. I know it's weird, but I have many urns with the remains of my cat friends. I've decided that I would like to buy one nice decorative box and place everyone in there. When I'm gone someone can bury it for me or maybe I'll see if I can pay to have them placed in a pet cemetery somewhere. I have nice bags with paw prints on them. So my plan is to wrap the plastic bag with their ashes in a small piece of fleece, place it in the bag and then use a tag to identify who it is. Shutterfly is having a half off sale. Yesterday I did 17 tags. I had to get over $49 at a time for free shipping. Get this, the shipping for 17 tiny tags was $36. They are only 1 1/2 x 1 inch. I'm hoping since they are so tiny the photos will be nice and clear. Here's what the one for my Grace looks like. He was an awesome cat, lived to be about 22. I have 22 more to go.
Good luck with your pet project @Catzilla ! At first, that sounds like a lot of cats - but even at just 31 I've been touched by many pets throughout my life: 4 as a kid, 3 growing up, 3 that I've owned myself before the 2 I now have....cats add up. Haha. I hope it all turns out well! PS: I love cats
Every night I leave for work—the two weenies sitting on my husband’s lap. He says they all three share the recliner all night.
Ha! Love it. Substitute this for my husband with the cats and that's how it is for me. Such sweet little weenies you have. They do look a bit sad you're going to work, @Valgal. Missing you til you get back home.
