    My Trip Report

Tonight after work, the hubs and I head out to our favorite place!!
As usual, we have a lot of stuff in our plans that we probably will only do half of, but that is the way we Vegas. We usually go really big when we first get there and then get lazy by the end of the trip.

    Hopeful highlights of this trip:
    10K
    Potted Potter
    Neon Museum (Tim Burton)
Mob Museum (possible visit to the Speakeasy after)
    Peppermill
    Juniper Lounge
    Las Vegas Sign
    Hunger Games Exhibit
    Ellis Island BBQ
VMB meet up at Flights in Miracle Mile
Dinner at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant
Hello Kitty Pop Up at Park MGM
    Stage Door Casino
    Mon Ami Gabi

We both signed up for the 10 K but only my husband will be participating this year due to a slight foot injury thingie I have. I'll be cheering him on though.
I'm very happy that we decided on staying in one hotel this year. Usually we change hotels three times in our week long stay and it just gets annoying and all the waiting around to check in wastes precious Vegas time. I like staying in new places but the older I get, the more I appreciate the simplicity of unpacking and not having to pack up until the end of the trip.
We've never stayed at Bally's before but we enjoyed the casino quite a bit when we stayed at Paris a couple of years ago.
Getting through work today will be tough as will the 9 hour drive, but soon (not soon enough) I will be sitting in my hotel room drinking a cocktail and trying to shake off the sleepiness so I can go gamble. :headbang::headbang:
    I can't wait!!!!!

Sounds very fun! I am interested in your reviews of Juniper Lounge and the Tim Burton exhibit. I’m thinking of doing the neon boneyard in January but I’m not sure. I’ll be following along [emoji846]

Highly recommend the Speakeasy if you have time. Good luck!

    Obligatory pet pics.
These two nuggets got boarded this morning. These are their “not happy” faces last night while we packed.
So hard to leave them behind but fun must be had!!

Your pup in the second photo looks so much like my pup Jaxon's bestie Brutus.

I spent one night at Bally's on my last trip and was very pleased. I'd stay there again.

Bally's has been our spot the last couple years. The rooms are large, staff friendly and restaurants are good. Also, its mid strip and the play has been good there for us.

Also, Paso Robles at this time of night is a traffic clusterfuck.
No gas for us and we just lost 10 minutes of our travel time.

Have a great time! I always enjoy my stays at Ballys. Not super fancy but comfortable and decent rooms. I love being able to go between Paris and ballys. I saw Potted Potter my last trip and thought it was hilarious!

Say the sad faced little nuggets to the mommy ‘why can’t we go too?’
    Soooo sad, soooo cute.

Have fun and show us a jackpot!

Thanks @carolineno I will report back with my opinions.

@journaljim Yes, I have heard nothing but good thing about it, but tie will be the key factor on that night. And thanks!

Thanks @JasonK We have yet to get to the Peppermill. Last year, we tried and happen to hit the one morning that they were closed for cleaning. Hope we have more success this year.

Awwwww @breanna61 do you know what kind of dog Brutus is? We think Chewie is a Border Terrier but it's all guessing because she's a rescue.

@SandsFan we have been here all of an hour, but so far we like it.

Thanks @Astribling I can't wait for Potted Potter!!!

    Thanks @tringlomane

I know @Geogran if only one wasn't a chihuahua mix that yipped and barked at EVERY SINGLE NOISE EVER, I might be able to bring her to a hotel. LOL! Chewie would be a good fit, but we can't play favorites and take one without the other.

    Thanks @MikeOPensacola

Arrived at Bally's around one this morning. Total clusterfuck (I seem to like that word this trip...hope it's not an omen) as to getting to the parking structure. They do not make it easy, had to research on the phone as we were circling around Bally's. Blah!
Our registration lady was an absolute doll, she laughed at all my husband bad jokes and apparently upgraded us from a resort studio suite to the executive kind with the tub. It's a smoking room, but I'm not going to complain as it's pretty cool.
Pics to follow as my phone and laptop do not want to work together this morning and I'm not about that bullshit right now.
Here is a video if I can link it correctly:

So we have done zero gambling. First priority was getting all the bags and crap from our car, up to the room and getting food.
I took care of the food while the Hubs made a second trip to the car. Turns out the only thing open at Bally's at 2 AM is S'barros. Got a couple of strombolies and a piece of cheesecake and made it back to the room where I am eating and trying not to pass out, because...VEGAS
I don't think we will go downstairs at this point however, because we have to go to the Expo tomorrow to get Rob's race packet tomorrow and I don't want to do that too late as the convention center tends to be a clusterfuck (THAT WORD AGAIN!) if we go too late.
