The show was pretty funny. Small, half empty venue. He was on for about 70 minutes.

Once you get past the weirdness of his highlight reel being the set up between doors open and the start of the show, he has some good material. Fair bit of crowd work but mainly just to set up his segues, he didn’t really pick on anyone.

What is the CS Jordan 8 oz? Sorry - a quick Google search shows it to be a high end Cabernet? Prices overall seem not too bad with the exception of that glass of wine.

 

Its a California cabernet. There were cheaper options, that one just happens to be one ive learned of on VMB and enjoyed in the past. This was the 2015

Decided to play until 2 for the ringer comp for dinner.

Had a little over 400,
Raised with A8 of clubs in middle position and got 3 callers. Flop was 458 with two clubs. I cbet and 2 players stuck around. 6 of clubs turn and i downbet to 65 trying to get the sb to make a play on me as we had mixed it up. He called and the table big stack raised me to 200. I jam , he calls and suddenly i am up huge. He had the k high flush


10 minutes later i am racking up while waiting for my comp and am dealt two black 9s utg plus one. I open and get 4 calls. Flop K97 with two hearts, i cbet and get one call. Turn undercard and i bet 75 called. River alsp low and offsuit and i put the guy all in for about 60 more. He calls it off and mucks.



Up 953 on the session.


I think that went well

 

Went for a quick dip in the unheated pool to prove it is possible in November, made it two lengths before tapping out. I knew that would be bad but was hoping the hot tub would compensate and maybe id do some back and forth. But the hot tub is basically kiddie pool temperature. Relaxed for a bit, had my leftover steak, and packed up to be ready to head to Wynn after the show.

Going to take another run at Cromwell VP and maybe blackjack before grabbing dinner and doing a roundup on my MyKonami freeplay
