I just got back from Vegas a few weeks ago and actually did some gambling at Binions this trip. Curious as to what mail offers, if any they send. Do they offer free or reduced rates to the Apache Casino? Four Queens? Free play, food? Thanks for any input you all have on this.

Yes. These mailers, for out of towners, go out 8 times a year and usually cover 2 months. They offer FP and free, discounted, or bogo rooms. I can't confirm that food is included as that would be their highest 2 levels and I don't play enough there. If you are gambling at that level though, you already quickly accumulate comp dollars. My room offers used to be for 4Q's but they switched when their hotel opened.

@bman77 From your post history, I see that you are a strong VP player, typically staying + playing at Four Queens (and sneaking over to D/GG for their nice progressives and some couponing) and often at the $1 denom. You are also well-familiar with 4Q offers, and you are likely still getting and maintaining their second-best offer. Because Binion's has its own hotel rooms again, hotel rooms from Binion's offers are only for the Apache Hotel (and specifically no longer for 4Q). In general, for play at Binion's, expect offers from Binion's to resemble those that you would get from 4Q at a comparable level of play. Thus, if you were to do your usual $12k of daily VP coin-in (I'm estimating it to be $225-250 of theo) at Binion's instead of (or perhaps in addition to) at 4Q, expect to get the same level of offer from Binion's that you have been enjoying from 4Q. If you did just enough play last month at Binion's to take advantage of the ACG double points coupon (500 points), you are probably getting from Binion's at least the offer for two free nights and $80 of free play (less FP for a one-month offer -- March or June).

In terms of timing for the Binion's mailers... pretty much the same as 4Q. For me, they often arrive on the very same day together. Your first Binion's mailer should be arriving in December, to cover Jan/Feb. A Nov/Dec mailer is likely not being sent to you (as it was originally sent weeks ago), but a call to a host at Binion's to review play could get you a little something. If Binion's does their own Super Bowl party, then you might be getting that one too if your play there was strong enough.

Thanks for the input everyone. Four Queens will remain my base, but Binions had a nice little deal of playing 200 points and earning $20 in free play, $10 in food when I was in town several weeks ago. I did this for three days straight and would have done it the other three days if I had found out it about it sooner. I forgot about using the ACG 500 double points coupon. Julian from what you report if I can get the $80 in free play and two nights at the Apache, I'll be veryhappy. I usually come solo but think my buddy will be coming in with me at some point next year. I envision having some adult beverages and roaming the halls of the ghost hotel one night. I also hope to try Benny's BBQ spot.

    Hi hockeystl --

I don't know if the promo will be all of November, but I did it yesterday and today (and plan to do it tomorrow as well).

$8 in video poker per point. When I play for points at Binions, I play its 8/5 Bonus poker.

$8 of VP coin-in per point at Binion's -- same as sister property Four Queens (with the exception of 10/7 DB at QQQQ). If you play a VP game with a 2% hold at Binion's, the $1600 of coin-in it would take to reach the 200 points for the promo (if the promo lives on) comes out to about $32 of theo and just under $10 in comp value, plus the usual $10 in earned comps and $5 cashback (or $5 FP).

Last weekend I earned this promo on Saturday evening and again on Sunday morning. So I thought I earned two $10 food comps. But when I went to the Binion's Café solo, I handed of the two food vouchers to pay for a $20 steak dinner, I was told that one coupon was for $10 but the other was a BOGO coupon. So a boothling gave me the wrong coupon by mistake. Shame on me for not reading the voucher right away at the booth.

I can confirm my own post from a visit there a couple days ago. Lots of signage touting the promo all over so I'd expect it to continue thru the end of 2019...at the least.

Hoping they keep it going next year. It seems like a win win for the players and the casino.
