Hi there everyone. We land this Wednesday and will be on the strip at the Linq started at 11am. We don’t have anything structured planned for the first day of a three day trip. We have comedy club, fancy dinners planned for the next two night. What are some must dos on the first day in Vegas? I’ll take all suggestions!!

couple of touristy things if you haven't done them already....

    maybe ride the hi-roller

see if Big Elvis is in the piano bar in Harrahs

just cruise the strip toward MGM stopping in each place for a libation,
then cross over to NYNY and make your way back to the Mirage...
stop and see the fountains and conservatory at Bellagio...

    just my two Zlotys

ps... I will be in town and staying at Harrahs...

IMHO, I would wait until dark to ride the High Roller, I think that it's much more "impressive" at night.

I agree with doing the high roller at night. Cheapest tickets online I have seen for the happy hour car is $48 each. Saw a groupon for the wax museaum and high roller for $69 but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

I always like to take some time to wander thru the Venetian and Wynncore to see their decorations. Get a drink at Parasol Down and enjoy some sun!

The High Roller at night sounds like fun! Does anyone know if the bogo tickets for the High Roller with the Caesars Reward card is good for any time slot or whether it's only for specific "off" times and days?

    Since you said that.
My dream trip is staying in the room, suck in the tub, watch some TV, and call room service.
No kidding, it will save lots of money as well.
