Did there late vet stop and nothing is wrong they say besides a slight higher temp and a soft/sore spot middle spine. Did a bunch of blood work. Gave me a syringe in the mouth med and some pills to give. We shall see how it goes

Someone looks grumpy! Sounds like good news though.

Curious, how did the carrier loading process go and which method did you use?

Just did the cornering and the towel over her but of course the towel fell off due to all the fighting to get out. After all the attempting biting that didn’t work due to the gloves, put her in the carrier. Now to get her to eat the wet food with the crushed med in it

Glad to hear it wasn't anything too serious like a broken "arm.".
Your baby looks like mine and if she's like my cat she won't touch all the wet food, because they know better. What works 100% is Greenies Pill Pockets Feline. I give her the chicken flavor.

So sad when your pet's sick. You want to help so much but just don't know how. I remember how this felt when I had a pet I loved. Just shear heart-ache when they're sick.

Thanks, if I went within 15 feet of there I get hissed at. Tough to do when the laundry room is right next to there

It's almost like something happened when you were gone. Maybe she tried to hide, and hurt herself. It wouldn't hurt to get one of those phermone plug-in oil things.. Hope she is better soon.

I think your cat's just pissy cause you left for a couple days and returned at 1 am... my wife does this too sometimes... including getting on top of the fridge! Lay low, do some nice things...It'll get better!

I was lucky last time I took mine in. I opened the front of the carrier, and she was looking around. About 5 min later she slowly went into it. I just stepped over, and closed the door. Vet suggested that I give her a sedative next time, and I just laughed. Mine don't do pills. :)

If you want to get back on her good side, get some bonito flakes. Mine goes nuts for them.

It has just been weird. Everyday when I get home pita would be waiting for me on the top of the steps for a head scratching. Now I don’t know, must be something internal. FACE076E-6808-41AF-AD7B-DF2A4D254385.jpeg

I’m betting She’s still very much in pain.
Did they do an X-ray on her?

They gave me two different sedatives. One was a pill I crush and mix into the wet food. The other one was a syringe and I was suppose to squirt under the tongue, that one hasn’t gone well. Both every 8 hours
