What year was your very first stay in a Las Vegas strip hotel and which hotel was it?

Holiday Inn Boardwalk in 1996 as a 19yr old freshman at SDSU

 

April 2017 @ Caesars Palace. Only been back 9 times since lol

 

1993 Monte Carlo

I did not like gambling there but I loved the brewpub in the back past the food court.

They had live music quite a bit and it was a fun place to hang while eating and drinking.

 

1992, Motel6 off strip because my then-boyfriend was too cheap to stay on the Strip. The following year in 1993 he upgraded us to Circus-Circus.

 

1998 Luxor Pyramid, got an upgrade and was immediately hooked!

 

The Pub, Loved that pace our first couple visits to Vegas. I hate change almost as much as I love the constant evolving of Vegas

 

1971 Holiday Inn Center Strip. That hotel is now Harrah's. The hotel was just built, and had no casino. My first casino there was the Bonanza. It's about where Bally's is now. Ahh, this brings back memories. thanks.

 

1995. Got married at the Tropicana. Stayed for a week.

I drove across the country in 1997 at the age of 23 and stayed at the Tam O' Shanter - http://www.roadsidepeek.com/roadusa/southwest/nevada/vegas/lvmotel/lvstripmotel/tamoshanter/index.htm

I remember it had a coin-operated bed jiggler, and there were multiple strung-out prostitutes in the parking lot. Good times! I slept on top of a bunch of towels.

 

On my first Strip trip (Stardust, several pages back) some of our gang stayed at the Tam O'Shanter and it was perfectly fine back then in the 1970s. It was at the time a Best Western.

Naw, we're still married. 24 years this last June.

 

First Vegas trip was 1996, senior in high school some off strip hotel forget which one . First time staying on strip was 2007 at Planet Hollywood right after it changed over from the Aladdin.

I'm confused. Why would the person you divorced 9 to 10 months prior be upset that you didn't tell her about taking a trip?

 

He claimed he was a “broke”n man in court and she couldn’t believe he was going to low roll it in vegas..... thus, scathing?

 

It was September of 1993...stayed at the Imperial Palace. I specifically remember that there was a fire at the Dunes, which was already closed and was imploded the next month.

 

It was back in 2004 and it was at Tropicana
