A Weekend with Gaggles, JR, Madonna, ECVF: LIVE Nov 8-11 at PHO

Welcome one and all to another Gaggles and JR adventure! Or should I change JR’s Vegas name to JG now a we are married? No???? I agree….. No flow to JG. So Mr and Mrs Gaggles will still be known as Gaggles and JR for all Trip reports purposes. I was hesitant to put up another TR so soon after that marathon trip we took in September. I don’t want to bore you guys with repetition or too much of the same. I hope these reports aren’t getting dull for you guys and I mean that sincerely. We are gonna have @vegasmacker do the guys only Super Bowl TR in January.

Married life is good. We have been together for a grand total of 60 whole days! By Vegas or Brittany Spears standards that is a Golden Anniversary and a lifetime! In any event, time to talk about important things. We haven’t been to Vegas in one sixth of a year. That simply will not do. And so when I got an offer for free tickets to Madonna and mentioned it to JR, it was on. We got a HORRIBLE deal on flights but those same flights right now on Westjet have climbed to $1679.36 EACH. That is not a misprint. Who the hell would pay that for a 2.5 hour flight to Vegas???? You can get to Australia for that price. I was upset paying $1006 for two flights (using a $99 companion voucher and $200 Westjet Dollars) but now it looks like we are getting a screaming deal.

Now what are some of our preliminary plans? Well we were inspired by @WelshBlonde to book a table at the PHO Steak House due to the fabulous food porn on her last TR. Does anyone know if she is still alive after that 28 day trip??

JR and I have tickets to Madonna on Sunday. Hopefully nothing goes sideways on that concert. We rally want to see her because unless she’s drinking from whatever Keith Richards is drinking, she can’t tour that much longer can she? So we are really looking forward to this one. I am also a little less than 5000 Tier Points away from that $600 flight credit so really, how do we not go to Vegas right?

As I am not a fan of country music, JR may be taking in Florida Georgia Line on Saturday. I may begrudgingly drink and gamble at PHO while she is at the show.

I have been in contact with fellow Vegas degenerate @EastCoastVegasFan! He has been gracious enough to offer JR and I a couple of Cosmo brunches with booze privileges for Saturday morning. As some of you may or may not know, she sure does like her Mimosa’s. After we get a day drunk going, we are gonna find us a craps game somewhere. We could be anywhere from Green Valley to TI to Park MGM to Silverton. I am also not opposed to Downtown. And nobody better double dog dare us to check out Jokers Wild….don’t do it…..

So we have a few activities planned but still some room for flexibility. By Canadian standards it looks to be pool weather in Vegas this weekend. But we are staying at PHO, which has one of the worst pools in Vegas, because I like to stay at PHO when it is not normally pool weather. Will we have a @VegasBeejay sighting? I think I owe him a good roll at the craps tables as our stars haven’t quite aligned on the last two trips. We are also looking at The Linq for a football game on Sunday and a bucket of beer. Or two buckets of beer. Or…well..you get the idea…

It is currently snowy and sucky up here in the Great White North and we are quite looking forward to palm trees if only for a weekend.

JR has been asking me to post some more pics of her stagette party from September so I may put up a few for you in this report. I didn’t want to make it look like I was trying to bump the TR simply for views on the last one. I will try to get some of those to you. They had a much crazier night than the Gaggles Stag party to be sure.

Ohhhhh, I didn't even think of Jokers Wild!!! Now, there's an idea! Something tells me it will be Park MGM, but with the amount of alcohol intake, who knows?! Oh, the pre-excitement of Vegas, flying out in 10 hours!

This sounds like a challenge for me to BBQ tonight?? And by the way, it snowed a lot more overnight. The burgers are soaking in a marinade I made this morning. Just saying.

I actually like BBQ in the winter. Its quick and clean up is easy. And yes, I know Calgary gets more snow than Toronto.
But in the middle of winter, who's counting.

Oh, thank goodness, imagining dirty pirate hookers while reading your TR's is the only thing that makes my boring day slightly more interesting .. that and day dreaming about my next vegas trip.
