I hope things at the DTG went well for you. Keep up the play and the TR.

By what he wrote, I don't think so.
Sorry for the bad session, but I did get a kick out of the response.

1.5k for 3 days and still play $25 bj?
Has that ever eaten into your bankroll?

    Uggghhhh.

Don’t you hate it when you wake up and immediately regret all your decisions from the prior night? When I left my dad on the strip I was up $200 and I was pretty tired. Had I gone to bed I would have had a nice cushion for today.

Instead, I came back downtown and played like an IDIOT and lost all my winnings and $400 of my own money... Dumbass

Quick recap: after getting back to Fremont I grabbed a quick chili dog at American Coney (delicious as always). and I decided to try my hand at some slots. I’ve been watching Matt Bridger’s VLOGs and that stupid song from the Hedi slot has been stuck in my head. So I sat down and promptly dropped $200 there. Got two bonuses in the process but they were both small. After that I went to blackjack and bought in for $100. Yo-yoed for a bit and eventually pushed in my $100 promo chip and won two $100 hands back to back. Ended up cashing $175, so I basically turned my promo chip into $75. After that I was listening to the voices in my head (totally normal, right?) and walked over to DTG. They’ve rearranged the tables there and as I walked up I wasn’t feeling it but I bought in anyways and quickly lost my $175.

Walked back to GG and lost $100 on craps and another $100 on roulette. My biggest regret is betting recklessly. It was late and I was tired and playing balsy trying to win my money back.

Went to bed around 5:00 and woke up at 10:00. I was really hoping to get some sleep this trip but the casino is calling my name. I really wish I would have been more disciplined last night but I’m pretty sure that’s how 90% of the people here feel when they wake up every morning.

So I’m gonna take a quick shower, grab some coffee, and find a game. I’ve got $600 for today. Hopefully I can pad my BR early. Wish me luck.

Ya it definitely eats into my BR. But I’ve been coming to Vegas for 10 years now and smaller wagers just don’t give me the thril I’m looking for. So knowing my playing style can eat up larger portions of my bankroll, I spend a lot of time jumping from casino to casino trying to find that perfect game. It’s fun and it eats up time.

Shrug it off. We have all been there, and it is not like you lost the entire BR before you slept.

Once I was travelling and my gf got very sick. She was in the room and I was in a foul mood so I hit the craps table at 2 am. I lost $3500 and only had $500 left for the rest of the trip. I did not tell her although she wondered why I was paying with things on my credit card.

There was a silver lining: I played the $500 and won it all back plus about $300. No one was the wiser and I did not want to cry ;)

Sounds like you're having fun at least! I would be happy if my nights there ended up only $400 down lol

Oh it’s not the dollar amount I’m worried about. After all, I stayed within my budget for the night. I’m more upset about losing the opportunity to wake up with that satisfying feeling of being ahead.

All of this is me. I love downtown, and I love GG. I love my offers, the dealers, the cocktail waitresses, the hosts, the entire staff!
and I always carry $2 bills - I wrap two of them around my BR to protect it from the chili dog fund!

    good luck!

    Don't I know it.
I have tried slow playing at the Craps table doing $5 bets and it feels like driving 25mph on the highway.
As a result, even though I buy-in small I still do $15 and $25 place bets.

Sound like the Twilight Zone episode I saw the other day. That didn't end well for the guy hearing the casino calling his name. But seriously, shrug it off, and have a good time. You're in Vegas, on vacation with your dad. Cherish the time!! So you lose, so what? Do you really go to Vegas and expect to win? Never do that, or you will be seriously disappointed.
