I think you have to host the videos on something like YouTube.

Last day started off way too early. I can’t adjust to the time change. Woke up and took a shower and headed to west gate to make my sports bet. I did a professional parlay with the Astros -1.5, Suns +5 and an nfl team I can’t remember, Rui Hachimuri to win ROY in the nba and a 3 team college football parlay for Saturday. Then I went to chic fil a for breakfast.

I made a last stand on gambling at the Cromwell. The bloodbath continued and I lost what I was ready to lose and then $200 more. I just got back to the room and am going to pack up. I need to figure out something to eat before the flight since it’s at 8:55 and doesn’t land until 1:20. Sorry this sort of ended with a whimper but there wasn’t a ton of good to report. Sort of a boring solo trip.

Never apologize for letting us ride along with you. Some vicarious experiences are pleasant, some are unpleasant and some are lukewarm. But they are all an escape for those of us doing some work at home while reading the new posts.

Better luck next time and have a safe trip home.

Ha! So I'm not the only diamond to be line skipped by someone with a fancy diamond card. I was the *only* one in line at the paris cashier last trip, and a guy walked up just as I was going to the window with his diamond card out, walked right by me up to the window and proudly proclaimed "I'm diamond" to which I replied "congratulations, so am I and the line is right here."

Thanks for the updates. Tough to keep up with the trip report on losing trips.

I knew the Dolphins would lose that game after the stupid all out blitz on 3rd & 20 with less than a minute to go in the half. As a Dolphin fan, I refused to believe that they are intentionally losing, but after that play, I'm starting to believe the conspiracy theories.

I am looking forward to going to the NFL Draft in Vegas next year for the Dolphins 14 draft picks, should be exciting as a Dolphin's fan.

That’s exactly what happened. Why skip one person? It’s somehow a lot worse to skip one person that it is to skip several.

One final mildly amusing story. I went to the sandwich/bakery place on the walkway between Ballys and Paris for a sandwich. Their drinks were too small so I stopped at like a stand that sold snacks right before you go down the stairs and ramp on the Ballys end. The Pepsi was 3.99 and I had already packed up my change so I asked the lady if they had a take a penny-leave and penny tray. She said yes but I didn’t see one. So I sat the penny on the counter and said I didn’t see it, please put it where it’s supposed to go. Then, almost in slow motion, I watched in horror as she picked it up, tapped it like a toke and put it in her pocket. Did this woman think I tipped her a penny? She must think I’m the biggest asshole in the world. I didn’t hang around long but her English wasn’t perfect but she could speak it and responded appropriately to my small talk. Do they not have those take a penny leave a penny trays on the west coast? I’m pretty sure I can never go back there.

Being from Canada its hard to get used to having to deal with pennies while in the USA.

The diamond line is not clearly marked at Nosh. I am guessing you stand outside the line in the space close to the bathrooms ?
I found out they no longer sell the breakfast croissant it’s on focaccia bread instead.

14 picks in next year's draft? Wow, hope they pick some winners. But until Brady and Belichick retire, the AFC East will belong to the Patriots. And believe me, I am not a Pats fan. I'm a Giants fan, and they suck!!

Trip recap: Rough trip gambling wise. If it wasn’t for some video poker wins, it would have been a disaster. The Ballys junior suite was a pretty decent room. The Old Homestead steak was so much better than BLT one but I’d like to go back to BLT because if the subpar steak I got was just a one time deal, I’d pick BLT over Old Homestead. They have a happy hour from 4-6 where drinks are half price too. Weller 107 for $8.50 is a great deal.

I really like Ballys. That’s back to back stays there for me. I put in a little extra play there so hopefully the offers keep coming. Greg at Ballys, Deena at PH and Celeste at CP were all great dealers. In every case, their replacement was just as awful as they were great. Never could get anything going on any craps table, which is rare. It really hurt staying out of Cosmo. Because I didn’t get much play, I came up short if making diamond so maybe I’ll move all my play to Cosmo instead of just my slot play. The best new thing for me, it’s a tie between the BLT bar or the sandwich place JJ something or other in the walkway between Ballys and Paris. Next trip is in March so hopefully the gambling luck will turn around then. I’ve got a $100 credit burnings hole in my pocket from the time spent in the middle seat.
