Pizza Rock for a sit-down dinner.
Secret pizza for a very late night slice.

Not the best pizza per se, but definitely the best pizza EXPERIENCE has to be picking up a whole pie to go at Secret Pizza and eating it on the balcony watching the late night fountains with a couple of ice cold beers and some nice people to share it with.

I've had Secret Pizza at Cosmo's and Pin-Up Pizza outside of Planet Hollywood. Neither blew my mind, but Pin-Up was better, and bigger. Finding your way to Secret Pizza can be very fun, when drunk, but the pizza was just ok.

Promise to sample a different pizza spot (or two) when I return in November. I will update afterwards.

We love Joe's NY pizza one down in the South Premium outlets, and one near the Hard Rock cafe. We are from NY.

I believe it has recently been confirmed that the room service pizza at cosmo comes from Secret Pizza.. In case you're in the other tower and too drunk to make the trek... ;)

Pizza Rock happy hour (with the meatballs) is the high bar for me.

Big fan of Five50. Where they really shine is the specialty pies. Their regular cheese pizzas are fine (good but not revelatory), but I love the random combinations they put together. The picante pizza (ghost chili salami and a couple other types of chiles and peppers) is great, and they do a special slice for Knights home games (used to be a combination of pulled pork, peppers, and some other stuff, though this season it's meatballs which I don't eat).

This is true, but I read that about a year or two ago, Stations took over running Tony's, so it would be possible (I haven't compared it) that they haven't kept up the same standards as when Tony owned it. One change is that when Tony owned/controlled it, they didn't sell by the slice. Now at times, they do.

Grimaldi’s, 550 at Aria and Pizza rock. Sorry Secret Pizza to me has not been that great, the mystic of finding it is the lure as far as I can think.
The little pizza shop at Plaza is pretty good as well, think it is called Pop Up Pizza.

Of the pizza places I’ve tried in order of rank:

    1) Pizza Rock at GVR - Margherita
    2) Five50 at Aria - Margherita
    3) Secret Pizza at Cosmo (fair, not great)

Next to try: Grimaldi’s because VMB rates it highly along with Pizza Rock downtown

    Happy pizza hunting!

Grimaldi's at the Palazzo or Fashion Show Mall is my go to. Giordano's at the Grand Bazzar Shops in front of Bally's was just ok. I do love Chicago deep dish though.

Secret Pizza, I had it back in 2011 when it first opened and thought it was just ok. Like someone said, I was intrigued and lured into trying to find its location.

I wanna try Pizza Rock one day!

Chicago Brewing Company was very tasty, but Pop-Up Pizza and Pizza Rock were amazing IMO... does DTG comp Pizza Rock? LOL that may move DTG way up my downtown hotel rankings by itself if they do :licklips::feedme:

I agree about Giordano's - forgot to mention I had them in my earlier post. It was my first time having Chicago deep dish pizza and i was disappointed. So were the others at my table. Nobody liked it (we had the deep dish supreme).
