after asking about MGM Casinos platinum card benefits @Multifarious5 said there are good perk with platinum card at cosmopoitan casino (identity rewards) so i wonder as well what benefits would i get just by platinum card status?
i'm aware of that the level of play is what gives most of the offers but sometimes just being at high level of card gives you benefits that are regardless of your play like diamond lounge for diamond elite card at CET or 50% off discounts on buffets with president / chairman level of station casinos for example.

That’s what you get pretty much. Everything else is dependent on play and hotel spend is my understanding.

Hey Gio, I responded on Mlife but figured it's better here.

I'll let others chime in on "unwritten comps" for Cosmo's Identity tier program, but when I gave Cosmo props, it's not even for Platinum, even their GOLD perks kick butt, the advertised ones!

I'm just gold at Identity, not even platinum, and it is THE best plan I've ever experienced.

2 free nights a year for you (that you can add to a comp offer) two free nights for a FRIEND/family, BOGO daily for Wicked Spoon buffet (any time of day, and I've even used it on holidays) , Comp late checkout/in, NO resort fees for gold (though you also can get no resort fees at lower tier levels, based on gaming activity). Plus the VP of slots is very active on here, they are huge about customer satisfaction. Check this thread out.

    https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/index.php?threads/welcome-offer-from-the-cosmopolitan.128437/

What other high-end hotels do this? There is a reason Cosmo has an almost cult following on VMB....they spoil us rotten. Now, this is from a slots perspective. If you're tables, I don't know. But slots? Identity is amazing.

There might be unwritten perks too, but Cosmo's written perks are so stellar, they in a league of their own. If you're comped at upper-tier hotels, go to the link above and ping the VP of slots, he will sometimes match offers if they have the bandwidth, and he's really nice. That's how I got in, and they've been spoiling me for years :)

OK, sorry for being chatty Kathy, I just get excited about Cosmo, and her tier perks!

    Thanks for sharing!

few question on what you wrote:
    1) how is 2 free nights calendar looks like? is it the same calendar for friends/family? is it only weekdays? or got weekends? is it available on holidays?
    2) Does wicked spoon buffet lets you do half off on one buffet in stand of 2 for 1 like most buffets?
    3) how early is the early check in and how late is the late checkout?
    4) 2x/3x on slots apply on VP as well? is it for tier credit or for reward credit? (speaking CET language but hope you understood)

2 free calendar nights depends on the calendar. You’d have to ask the Identity Desk and it can change depending on how busy they are, what events are going on, etc. I have used my nights on weekends before.

Wicked Spoon might let you do that if you are solo. I’ve never tried it.

Early and late check out depends - I’ve had late check out till 1:00P. Since normal check in time is 3:00.

    4. you’d probably have to call and talk to someone that works there for this, no clue, but I believe it’s only slots.

    1) how is 2 free nights calendar looks like? is it the same calendar for friends/family? is it only weekdays? or got weekends? is it available on holidays? Based on availability. Can be weekends, May not. You'll just have to call with dates and they'll tell you if they can book your guest nights.

    2) Does wicked spoon buffet lets you do half off on one buffet in stand of 2 for 1 like most buffets? It was originally only BOGO. A VMBer asked Kevin, the VP of slots about that, and he said it made perfect sense wanting 1/2 off for solo travelers, and they started allowing 1/2 for solo travelers. Not sure if they still do it, but I WAS able to use 1/2 in lieu of BOGO on my solo trip last year. So, yes, as of the date I last used it. I also love that you can use it for any meal, including weekends and dinner, and holidays. This was a big, positive surprise for us.

    3) how early is the early check in and how late is the late checkout?
No idea on early check in, I'm a night owl. :) I've checked out as as late as 3:00 - 4:00 pm BUT that was via a host, and it's based on availability. So situational. I'm betting without a host it's noon or maybe 1:00 pm like @luck.ofthe.draw said, they ARE popular!

    4) 2x/3x on slots apply on VP as well? is it for tier credit or for reward credit? (speaking CET language but hope you understood)
VP questions Ill let someone more savvy answer, I never play VP. I know I should, better odds, but I don't.

Good luck, and I'm bettering by tomorrow you have bunch of additional posts from people giving great tips.

Thanks Gio, and have a great nigh
    t!

    No. slots only.
    Reward credit.
Talking about playing VP there, their theo setting on their VP machines are so low, not worth playing there. I don't.

As of 2 weeks ago they still allowed the 50% off for a solo traveler for the wicked spoon buffet.

    can you elaborate?

I played a TON of video poker there during a 3 nights stay this summer and I was indeed a little surprised talking to the host on duty at the end. He made it seem like he had to override something in the system to even be able to give me some backend comps for food, saying my room was already so expensive etc etc. with that amount of play I believe I would have had no problem to get pretty much everything comped at most places. (I think I got around 80k identity points...)

    so, makes sense I guess.

There is a small “caveat” to the VP only earning 1x points. It also applies to other games on the same machine. So even if you play Texas Tea or Wolf Run you won’t get the multiplier. But on the flip side if you go and play Keno on a dedicated machine you get the multiplier. But then you’re not getting the delicious drinks and prompt service at either Chandelier or Sports Book.

By the way, the high limit bar doesn’t use the drink ticket system. Still good old bartender discretion. They comped me a couple nice whiskeys there. I think there’s is a limit that’s they can comp up to, was something like 40-50 bucks a shot. I was playing $5 dollar coin, however.

You play 9/6 JoB the whole time? 80k indentity points on that game is only 80k x $6 x 0.46% = $2208 theo which 30% of that is $662 for a rough comp value. They may even use 25% comp ($552) since they are giving you identity points too. So yeah not a ton left after the room. :(

Same deal with CET, dedicated keno will get the slot rate, but not when it's mixed with VP.

I love the Cosmo and wouldnt mind sharing my bank roll with that property VS using all my bankroll at CET however the problem with the Cosmo is that they seem to desire slot players vs table players when it comes to comps and point system.
IDK I could be wrong this is just from my experience.

i played a lot of 9/6 JoB, but also some other games, all over 99% though iirc. So you are right of course, that’s why I chose to play them in the first place, the Theo is low. :D

Now the question is: how precisely are they measuring their Theo numbers. If they just used the slot equivalent for Identity points that would be awesome of course, but we already know they are not doing that apparently. But can the host really see the exact theo according to the specific game I am playing? Or is it by machine? Or just “Video Poker” in general has a certain Theo programmed in?

maybe it is different for front end and back end, too. Because I did get a great marketing offer now...

That has been my impression from what I have read as well. I would love to play craps there and get comps at the rate I get them for CET but it doesn't seem to work that way there.

It's exact theo with perfect play for theo calculations, unfortunately. Kevin has confirmed this.

So 9/6 JoB is 0.46% theo, 9/6 DDB is 1.02% theo, 9/6 TDB with DSTP is 1.35%, 6/5 Bonus is 3.13%, etc.

For that much coin-in, if you played at other places, where they give 3% theo on VP, you would be treated like a whale.
I guess you were playing $5+ games, or multiple hand $1+.
