    1997 - Imperial Palace. I am not so much nostalgic for the hotel but the round trip ticket, and three weekend nights at the hotel, cost me a grand total of $250. I miss that part.

    I can't remember where I stayed my first trip, except that it was 1986 and I bowled in the ABC National Championship and played golf at the Desert Inn.

    My second stay was the weekend that Treasure Island opened in 1993.

    1982 - Westward Ho. Took 15 minutes to walk to the casino itself. Stayed in the courtyard in back.

    MGM Grand in 1996, it still had the Wizard of Oz theme then! My profile pic is from that trip as well. We had a nice view of the Sam Remo and went over for sushi, great service.

    Also stayed in a motel near the strip later that year because I guess we couldn't afford $38 a night at the Sahara.

    Back in '92 at Circus Circus. Didn't know any better then. My first night, though, I hit Stardust, the Riv and Westward Ho. Pretty unforgettable.

    July, 1993 at the Golden Nugget. College graduation gift from my parents. I fell in love with everything about Vegas that trip, downtown, the strip, the lights, the gambling....everything. I've been back at least once or twice a year every since other than a couple for financial reasons and when my son was born. He is 18, I've told him I'll take to Vegas for his graduation as well :)
