Check in for your flight to Las Vegas -- 10/10 to 10/13

I still needed to pick up my Visa gift cards from Palace Station; they had called me Saturday to say the cards were coming that evening and that I would be able to pick them up on Sunday before going to the airport. I received 3 $100 cards and one $50 card. These will make perfect gifts in addition to the now $500 in Shell gas GCs I picked up from Palace Station tied to promos in July and August.

 

All in all, the trip was enjoyable even though it was a losing one. I didn't lose a lot but it was just frustrating. I had some great spa treatments and meals, all comped, got my gift cards, went watch window shopping and thoroughly enjoyed the highlight of the trip -- Michael McDonald -- so I can't complain. I am hoping my final trips to Vegas this year (and one more to AC) are all winning ones.

Pics of my Harrah's room are below. I felt kind of badly that the Diamond check in person was so pleased to provide me a nice room that I wasn't going to use but I did give Harrah's some play. I got a room like this before. It is a nice suite that would be great to have if staying there though I strongly prefer a strip view room.

Also, here is a promo running for a while at the new Palace Station cafe. At check in I also received two coupon books with coupons for deals on meals. Lots of 241s.

 

Last, but certainly not least, the Encore Daily Slot Tournament is back!! I was at the spa during tourney times Friday afternoon, but I was able to play Saturday. I didn't do well but it was fun and a free shot at one of a number of free play prizes, including the top prize of $1500 in free play.

 

There is also something called Mystery Rewards where from now until I believe Novemebr 15th, random people playing SLOTS (I confirmed VP is not covered) can win up to $1000 in free play. Someone at the Red Card desk said the number of times it hits varies but he conveyed that it is a multiple times each day.

 

That wraps up this trip!! It feels surreal that I am already back in my apartment in NYC. It is approaching 2 am and I need to get up at 6 am so I am going to head to sleep!

Thanks @Flowers for awesome TR...never stayed Wynn or encore before so I’m enjoying it more ... if you don’t mind asking .... you mentioned Wynn offered you voucher for watch? I’m assuming obviously you are more serious player for them to offer you this benefit..(I only play at mgm property’s and they never offer something like this to me maybe they offer to someone else(?). ) anyhow, is this more common with Wynn property offering their guests with vouchers?
