Checked into Palace Station and then went to the players club to get my $350 in Visa gift cards. They ran out of them so they have to mail them. WTF? I will check back tomorrow to see if more have come in -- the promo runs all month and today is just the 11th -- and if not, I am going to ask to free play instead of keeping my fingers crossed that $350 in gift cards doesn't get lost in the mail.

 

On a brighter note, went to the kiosk to redeem my free play. Then went to a machine. It didn't pop up at first so I figured it may take a while to register. So I put a bill into a UX machine to play dimes TDB, which I can't do at Wynncore (only dollars). Third hand in and I get my first hand pay of the trip. Held two aces and the other two with a kicker popped up with a 4x multiplier for $1600!

Thanks for the update on the LL slots i hope to give it a try. Wynn normally takes my $$$ as i seem to get ADD there and want to play all VP machines. How do they keep all the machines so clean?

I started wearing those on flights and long drives. They are great, glad I saw this so I remember to wear them Thursday on the way to Vegas.

Re keeping machines clean, yes; another reason to love Wynncore. They are constantly being wiped down, which I really like. I bring hand wipes with me when I am going to any other casino to play to wipe crap off before I get my gamble on.

I gave too much back of the hand pay at Palace but did bring some back with me to Wynncore. Up and down a bit playing UX dimes at wynncore but DDB. Got a few decent hits grinding it out on ten play dimes. It was cool to just chill and be holding my own.

I also caught up with host. I had to be here now but I don't pick up my watch voucher until I return in November. But, it's all good. I will window shop at the watch store today.

And yes, while any handpay is great five figures would be sweet. It has been too long!

Love the matching bags and pillow. They look like they just about exactly match a new suit I dropped off at the tailor this morning, coming soon to the fashion porn section of my next TR in about 6 weeks.

 

I am flying Mint for the first time on my next trip. It was "only" $499 from JFK so I had no choice but to do it.
