This has been going on for a couple years now, for whatever reason I have 2 assigned CET host in Vegas. Host A is an executive Casino Host, Host B is just a Casino Host. Whenever I head to Vegas, I always contact Host A via email to handle my arrangements which generally consists of the room, show tickets and adding any offer that I may have. Host A is prompt to respond and makes the arrangements immediately. Host A will send me an email the week of confirming and asking if there is anything else I need. Host A has also hooked me up numerous times with free rooms for family members anytime I have asked. Host A never reaches out to me while I'm on the property or tracks me down for a personal "Hi How Are You". Host A also never reaches out anytime during the year with an invitation to come out or to tell me about offers or events that I may be interested in. Host A however does have the discrepancy to comp charges on the backend upon checkout which is very important to me. Host B, who I have never booked with, emails me and calls me on the regular basis to tell me about offers I have, upcoming shows and events plus personal invitations to come out on all the biggest days like New Year's Eve and the Fourth Of July. I once asked Host B if he has authorization to comp things on the back end and his reply was no.

My dilemma, do I continue to solely have host A handle my arrangements? Should I tell Host B that I appreciate him reaching out but I'm letting Host A handle my arrangements because of their ability to comp on the back end? I do have a quick 2 day stay planned that doesn't involve any Show tickets or fine dining that I may need comp on the back end, should I give Host B the opportunity to make those arrangements or do you think that would mess me up in the long run?

I’d stick with Host A for the backend comps. It appears Host A is providing everything you need. Maybe be more proactive with him/her and send an email every once in awhile asking about upcoming events/comps. Perhaps Host B is some sort of assistant to Host A and his/her job is to do the reaching out??

Maybe I missed it, but it looks like Host A is doing everything and more than Host B can do. Why switch?

Host A, definitely. I'm not a fan of them reaching out to tell me about something that I can clearly see in my online profile already or view on the website.

Unless I really, really like the host - I hate being tracked down. I'm not even sure why you would want to switch from a host that takes care of all your needs? Do you want someone following you around? I like efficiency number one. Leave the nose blowing and the butt kissing for someone else.

I am with @tee6395 I hate being tracked down. If I want to see my host, I look up my host. But that is rare. When I am in Vegas I do what I want when I want and interact with people, including hosts, at my discretion. If a issue arises, sounds like you need Host A available. As for hurting Host B's feelings, don't worry about it. Host B is still getting his/her salary and probably does have a quota of "contacts" to make daily anyway.

    We experienced this too.
Up front both can do essentially the same for you.
We learned the hard way that only one can provide backend comps. Find out which and stick with that person.

Emails are easy to delete. You can even make a "rule" that if it comes from a particular person it goes straight to junk. Seems like more problems and more risk to risk "angering" Host B.

What if Host A leaves and you are "stuck" with host B?

Are you sure that Host B is an actual host that only deals with LV? We have one that calls us all the time but she mostly can only offer what we already have although once she did get us rooms that we couldn't otherwise get. She deals with all CET properties not just LV. I would stick with Host A. Don't know why you need her to reach out to you when your offers are clearly visible. Don't need any hand-holding here either.
