Ice has taken half the swelling down. I worried because swelling got so big so fast.

not much between skin and bone to protect and cushion those little vessels in that part of the body, as I said above those bruises (hematomas) last a while, ket that foot up, and stay off it as much as you can, and after you do walk on it, dont be alarmed if you see bruising by your ankle in a day or two.

I probably missed you by just a few minutes at both Cromwell and Harrah’s. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Glad the swelling has gone down. That mentally makes you -- and us!! -- feel better. Put on a good movie or something else on the tube and you can get back at it in the morning!

Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin or generic) Very effective anti-inflammatory. Keep taking it for a while, as the effect tends to be cumulative.

Ice will not hurt at all.

Met @Brindle at Caesars DL. Nice guy from Texas in town for 3 days. He also remembers 9/6 JoB on the Strip. Always nice to reminisce. Chicken tenders and mashed potatoes tonight; nothing memorable.

Staying in bed with leg raised on pillows tonight. Early morning laundry tomorrow.

Hope heals fast but if needed might consider renting a scooter for a day or two to keep off of it. Most CET properties have them at the bell desk. My hubby decided to show me how he could jump high enough to touch the Flamingos low hallway ceiling with his head. (Yes, MUCHO GRANDE alcohol was involved. So dumb right.) Luckily his head is hard and no head injury but sprained his ankle upon landing. This happened on NEW YEARS EVE! Can LOL now.
Alcohol dulled pain until the next day. The rest of the trip was on a ride. scooter.jpg
So enjoying your report!! Thank you for taking the time to share. :)

    Hope the leg feels better.

Keep the updates coming. Especially the one about the massive craps heater followed by a royal.

Leg is much better today. Still swollen but not the size of a second knee and I can walk on it.

Time for laundry. This is my favorite laundromat. It's on Maryland just north of Twain. It's clean, they're helpful and they give you free soap. 1 1/2 hour break.

And yes, they do your taxes while your clothes are drying. [IMG][IMG]

After laundry, a very nice rendezvous at the Venecian. Unique view from his room of Resorts World construction and Wynn golf course.

    Off to craps meet. [IMG][IMG]

Love how these TRs show all the cool niches in Vegas. I am not surprised at all that Vegas does Gay Pride big like it does everything else. Glad you’re enjoying!

Good luck at the Craps meetup. Last VMB Craps meetup didn't have any major heaters, but it was profitable!

Met @HornHighCraps and @The Stig for a craps run. Spread my sorry luck all over them. I lost $700. Didn't have a winning session. Must say, I enjoyed my time with them. Next meet up is Thursday at the chandelier bar.
