Likely the 2019 Poker story of the year. Several poker players have reviewed dozens of hours of poker streams from Scores Casino in Sacramento, leading to accusations Mike Postle was being fed real time hands, and possible involvement from Scores Poker Tournament Director Justin Kuraitis.

    Poker News Summary Article

Most observers and locals believe he's taken at least low six-figures out of the streamed games, and that's money that parties on the losing end may be looking to recover if they buy into the accusations against Postle.

Summary post in 2 + 2 46 page thread (created four days ago).

    Summary 2018 Win Totals:
$5/$5 live streams: Live stream sessions: 21 (19 winning, two losing) $93,200 Profit
$1/$3 live stream sessions: Live stream sessions: 13 (13 winning, zero losing) $36,120 Profit

I always felt the WSOP was in jeopardy with real time RFID interception which a 20-30 streaming delay does not solve. The stakes are in the millions, not thousands, and the WSOP should insure and publicize the controls in place to ensure collusion and cheating during the dozens of WSOP events do not occur.

Someone posted his 2019 results: +$253,300 in 277 hours of play, winning in 62/69 sessions.

Losing sessions were minor $s, held during the several week period Scores Poker Tournament Director Justin was in Vegas for the WSOP.

Quite a few Joey/Doug videos investigating this, and I think Matt Berkey has a long one he's releasing soon, too.

Mike Matusow has the 'alleged' offender on his podcast tonight, which might be interesting for anyone that wants to listen.

Mike Matusow was self-admittedly "High as a Kite" and asked few questions, Mike Postle didn't offer much exculpatory evidence, saying he is not looking for fame, doesn't have much money, looked at his crotch all game to watch the 30 minute delayed feed, this is a witchhunt, both Mikes kept bringing up the fact people were hyping to hit SportsCenter or to get views for their poker blogs. His only explanation of calling all in 45 off against two AK callers was they ran the board twice and it was chopped.

There were no follow-up questions as to why the hell he would call two all in players with 45 off in the first place, no questions regarding folding the AQ high flush against the 10 8 straight flush, no questions regarding the 93 off all in call or any other questionable and inconsistent plays provided by several vlogers. Also no questions regarding the initial accusations lobbied by the Scores employee who risked her job by calling out this major fraud in the first place (Veronica).

Mike Matusow has really regressed over the years, and his decades of drug abuse, felony drug convictions, illnesses and going completely broke has really taken its toll. He was barely lucid during this podcast and shouldn't have conducted the "interview" if he wasn't going to ask serious questions of Postle.

Seeking to drive viewer counts? Et tu Mouth?

Stones is finally taking the threat to their integrity and business seriously, announcing an independent investigation (their first "investigation" was performed in house, which is a joke since their Poker Manager and or other employees were likely accomplices) to be conducted by a former Assistant DA who headed a fraud unit. They also cancelled all streaming at this point to protect what remains of any integrity of their poker games in particular, and their casino.

To be fair to him, I saw Matusow around the Rio a couple times when I was playing tourneys this year, and he was a lot better than he was when I was playing 10 years ago, lol.

That said, he's definitely a sandwich short of a picnic, and you couldn't have expected much of note to come out of this given his stance on Twitter.

Wow. That’s some damning evidence. Especially the AQ versus the straight flush.

Part two was a bit more substantive, he asked a few pointed questions but admittedly didn't press him on the vague responses as Mike's goal was to provide a platform for Mike Postle to respond and let the viewers decide. Mike Postle said he is working on a comprehensive response to address the accusations, and is trying to assemble a team to go through the hundreds of hours of streaming, and to provide his won/loss records. Postel did not dispute the two pursuing vlogers results based on available streaming information, but said he plays significantly outside of streaming. He also stated the first half hour of each stream is not online and significant action is not included in the videos available to the two pursuing vlogers (Doug and Joey - see below).

    .

Time will tell if the declared second investigation, the first independently run investigation, leads to any evidence. It will be interesting if the DA will get phone and video records from Stone, Mike and Justin.

Three popular pokers vlogers including the Trooper posted their take over the weekend, the first two who have played in these streams and lost hands to the Poker "God".

The Trooper played against his brother in his one appearance, which also was the last stream held by Stones before announcing the independent investigation. His comments begin at 6:28, he says he doesn't know enough but doesn't believe the casino or any of their employees were involved, not sure how he can make THAT assessment since he self admittedly does not know enough and admits he hasn't paid any attention to what broke over the past week.

I've not watched the Matusow ones, but did watch the other 3, and Jaman's was very good.

Trooper just likes to mooch along in his own world and before any thoughts did say he had no real clue. I give him a pass for most things, though :D

Mr Postle is, as Turkish says 'Proper ****ed'

Jeff Boski (aka Jeff Sluzinski), Jaman Burton and other poker vlogers/players have filed a lawsuit today against Mike Postle, Stones Casino, the poker manager (Justin Kuraitis) and unidentified others.

I've followed this since the news broke. Actually, because I subscribe to Jaman's vlog I've been watching Postle win a ton before the allegations came out. If you've been playing poker for a number of years, or at least played online poker back before Black Friday you know this is so similar to the superuser Potripper on Ultimate Bet.

What blows me away in both situations is allowing greed to get you caught when you absolutely had the goose laying golden eggs for you. You really can't be an idiot to pull something like this off, but you have to be an idiot to execute it the way they did. They just made it too obvious by playing too perfectly.

I mean, I understand Postle to be a winning player for years so why not just play your game and use the inside info to get you out of the tough/marginal spots. If you use the inside info to try to win 100% of the chips and 100% of the pots 100% of the time you have to know red flags are gonna fly. Each one of those questionable hands could be explained away in a vacuum, but not all of them given the quantity. Even the nut flush hand vs the straight flush he could have folded and said he misread his hand, it happens, but put together with the mountain of other hands played so perfectly it's really difficult to talk your way out of ANY of them.

Man, I don't understand people. I'd like to sit here and say I would never cheat anyone, and I honestly believe I wouldn't, but if I woke up tomorrow with the ability to read minds at the poker table you better be damn sure I wouldn't make it so obvious as to let anyone figure it out.

Don't really visit this part of the forum as I don't play poker but the scandal headline caught my attention as I was browsing the main forum. It's odd to me that players are free to look at their phones during gameplay. So it's either he's cheating using his phone or there's something embedded inside his cap where someone is relaying him the info of the other player's cards etc?

Haven't dived too deep, but that's the gist of it, with a dash of rfid cards and insider in the view room for the poker room livestream.
