Water. Because the Atlanta airport does not sell alcohol until 11am on Sunday mornings. That’s when I board the plane. WTF? Rarely have I flown to Vegas sober.

Had a Michter’s Rye Manhattan before dinner tonight, yummy stuff.

Yesterday I had Oktoberfest beers from Germany: Spaten and Ayinger. Many beers of this style are too sweet and the smell of malt hits right away. Not so for the Ayinger.

Oktobefest weekend here in GermanTown Texas and I wasn't planning on going but my kids are coming up so now I'm in -- not a fan of the crowds. Here are the beer choices and I really don't care for beer. Probably will try a cider - Angry Orchard- or for beer Spaten - it's been a while but I do like it. I personally like Woodchuck better than Angry Orchard.

Lots of Pils to try!! I’d be right at home.

I'd pick either the Paulaner Hefeweizen or the Warsteiner Oktoberfest.

Had a couple more Oktoberfest beers tonight. Victory Festbier is served just about year round, it’s considered a Marzen style. Sierra Nevada partners with a German brewery each year to produce an Oktoberfest beer, this year the partner is Bitburger Brewery.
